I decluttered my jewelry. All the costume jewelry I gave to my cousin, she makes art with jewelry. I gave some of my grandmother's jewelry to a first cousin's daughter. I bought a smaller jewelry box from FB Marketplace. I don't miss any of what I decluttered. It's hard, but you are doing it🎉

I have 2 necklaces of the rolled paper beads. I recommend attaching sentimental brooches to toss pillows on your bed as an extra decoration. I hang necklaces on on mirror corners. I go through my stuff occasionally try to declutter what I don't wear. Oh yes, bracelets can be an extra decoration on a flower vase. Mine is basically costume jewelry which I've gotten 2nd hand, no big money outlay. I still wear pins, tac pins & larger brooches. Don't care if others think it's out of date.

Good job de-cluttering your jewelry! I recognized i think a few pieces of Premier Designs jewelry. : ) I am right there with you! I have gone through a lot of my jewelry and probably still need to do it some more. I am in my early 60s too. I am learning to keep what I love. and of course I do keep some, not all, of my sentimental items. Thanks for putting videos out.

On the stretchy necklaces, keep pendants but just keep 3 stretchy necklaces to enterchange

Unfortunately they are not easy to change. The pendants are knotted very tightly into the stretchy bands…

It makes me anxious just looking at your jewelry. I did the same thing with mine and gave alot away and it was soooo difficult. I have all my mom's jewelry to go through too. My husband and I live in Md. and are retired. Love your videos.

Thanks so much for looking that up! I really appreciate that! I wasn’t sure if Avon stuff was collectible or not.

I have trouble decluttering my long hanging necklaces even though I haven’t worn any in at least a few years. I’ve decluttered probably about half or more than half of my jewelry but I still have a door hanging jewelry armoire that is mostly full 😱

i use to wear earrings and rings every day. but as ive gotten older ive given away my heavier earrings as they were irritating my ears. I have lost the fat pad on my ring fingers and find it painful to wear them. so i just have some light weight earrings and a few necklaces, and ive put magnetic extensions on them so they are easy to put on, ive got arthritis in my hands .and i never wore jackets, not even at work. it was not comfortable. I am from El Segundo . calif.
