You said you don't like jewelry that has been made from a mold, but I think you mean to say mass-produced, because a lot of jewelry you showed is probably made from a mold. However, it is usually made from a mold that is made from a wax carving that is hand-carved, then made into a mold, and then cast in gold.

correct, luna would make a wax mold that she probably carved by hand and then pour in the gold to make a ring as example, just how it's done when make by hand

So if anyone is interested what you are referring to is called “The lost wax technique” and it’s also used in dentistry to make gold crowns (or it was before digital and CAD-CAM took over)

When I buy brooches I tend to pin them on the center of my tops, especially if there’s a bow detail etc. Makes the brooch less name taggy and more like it’s part of the garment ❤ Love your refined collection

Every single jewelry collection on KZread is all the same: Cartier, Van Cleef, Chanel, Tiffany, etc. It's all the SAME. I think that's what you meant by not wanting jewelry made from the same mold. Total glam, Michele. Jewelry, my absolute favorite. It's my weakness. Baroque pearls are my favorite. Your wedding/engagement ring is just gorgeous. A magnificent moonstone. The initial ring is beautiful. Such craftsmanship. It's so you. We can share rings. I'm about a 4 1/4-4 1/2. Love how the stone ring is flexible. Are they aquamarine? I'm partial to platinum and 18kt white gold, and your grandmother's ring is stunning. When I was 1st married, we were robbed. All of my grandmother's and Bubbe's jewelry was gone. Irreplaceable. It still breaks my heart, nearly 40 years later. I wish I could have passed items down to my daughters. Things slowly got replaced, but nothing like the antique pieces that I had. Oh my gosh. The skull ring. I can't believe that it's a pearl. How unique. You could always have the brooch made into a necklace. I'm a big fan of Alexis Bittar. Very organic, and nothing too heavy. Michele, this was such a delight to hear the story behind your wedding ring that I have been curiously admiring on you. When you came to tell us about Danish designer, Lene Vibe (pronounced Leh-nah Vee-beh) I nearly flipped… I love her work and see clearly how well it fits in to your esthetic… Those carved skulls are on another level! I can’t help but wonder if you also have a passion for the glorious designs of the Lynggaard family (Ole and daughter Charlotte) who are Danish jewelry royalty here in Scandinavia! Her rings would slide right into your collections so seamlessly! When I shop in the Oslo boutique, I always make sure to pick up a copy of their “catalog” which is a work of art in itself and has a permanent place on our coffee table.

I agree about the Chanel branding. Dislike company symbols on me… I’m not a billboard-they don’t pay me 😉

Always wondered about your rings; this was great! Note: I have been collecting fine antique and vintage jewelry for years; love the history of your platinum heirloom diamond ring (they look like alternating princess ◻️ and round ⚪️ cuts). One thing to note is signet rings are traditionally worn facing out so when you extend your hand, the other person can read it/see it face up.☝️🤓

i wear my brooch on a shawl collar of a coat for a little pop of something. i have a simple one as well and I will even put it on a sweatshirt.

After watching a few of your videos, I love your nail color. What are your favorite shades from what brands? I love the chocolatey/dark plum.
