RIGHT?! My mom was also a beast at this game! I often watched and it blew my mind lol.
No ads. No limited moves. No bonuses. This is exactly how games should be.

Yes, the limited moves would make the game much harder to beat. I think Jewel Quest is really fun to play, unlike other 3-matching game, mainly because of the background music and the visuals.

No bonuses in the sense of "no tools" that'll aid you, in the likes of Atlantis Quest or Rise of Atlantis, making this game harder than both. But at least this is how a match-3 game should be, rather than the crappy match-3 games that littered the app store. Bejeweled is the most basic game, you just match gems until you got a game over. Jewel Quest adds the feeling of adventure.
I remember watching my grandma play this game, she was insanely good and was playing it and I saw her play it all the time. I think I remember her even beating the entire game at one point.
Nostalgia
The thing me and my brothers always like about the Jewel Quest games were the feel of adventure, especially in some of their newer games. Same goes for all the Jewel Quest Solitaire games. They have fun characters, great stories and archs, and amazing visuals and background art. Sadly 3-match games have bad reputations from all the newer mobile ones like Candy Crush and what not, but more people need to play the good ol' classic Jewel Quest games.
I have ever beat the all five difficulties (Explorer, Adventurer, Excavator, Surveyor, and Researcher). This feels really fun to play, unlike other 3-matching game, mainly because of the background music and the visuals.

Question did you finish dead island and dead island riptide? If not are you going to back playing dead island at 100% with dlc and dead island riptide at 100%? The reason I asking this is because there is a pre-order of dead island 2
