summary: Jimin finds himself embroiled in a heist that is set to bring about the fall of an empire. Taehyung is in on the action for reasons of his own. Jungkook wants Jimin the way a spoilt child wants a toy. And over it all sits Mother, the mysterious matriarch of Seoul's largest mob syndicate.

oh lord where do I begin...
this fic was shocking (in a good way)! this story is so unhinged i've yet to read anything like it. i completed this story in 3 days... i just couldn't put it down. the plot, dialogue, characters, everything was just so unique. everything is just so memorable! there were truly some parts that just had me holding my breathe. this fic was a rollercoaster of emotions and thoughts. the characters were so unpredictable. you assume and predict one thing and next thing you know the unthought of happens. I don't know how the writer does it but, Vmintie you're an absolute genius!
something that really stood out to me in this story is that not just the grand but also the smallest moments make such a big impact. surprisingly a lot of let's call them side moments are just as special as the biggest ones. it's really rare to find stories that have so much impact on it's readers in the way this fic does. definitely one of the best stories i've ever read! top tier! (I still have to read the sequel; i'm in danger O_o ).
i highly recommend this fic but beware. read all tags before reading and make sure you are okay with everything. this fic is for a mature audience! as i mentioned before this story is unhinged and there are some things that not all readers will be able to handle or feel comfortable with. not everything is someone else's cup of tea and that's totally ok!
for my fellow Jewel of Busan readers, I really hope my story telling was able to embody the story. there are a lot of things i would change but after 3 months on working I have to make peace with what i've made. please feel free to comment or talk with me on twitter to scream about this fic :)

i still have to read Butcher of Seoul! i’ve waited since I wanted to focus on Jewel of Busan and make sure I don’t mix anything up. oh boy and I not ready for what’s coming. i know it’s going to ruin me… maybe in the future when I finish I will make a Butcher of Seoul one? (not making any promises but it could be a possibility)

hi I don’t really know how to say it but you just have to keep practicing editing until you find your style. watch other trailers (normal ones for movies or shows) and take notes of techniques used, what styles or features you like/don’t like that you would like to apply to your own trailer edits. as for clips i get them from bts’ content and other clips I just spend a lot of time watching shows and movies. I take note of which ones have certain clips that stand out to me or I know I can use and I save them for later. if not then I watch movies in search for specific clips if I need to. i hope this helps :)

Почему остальные, кроме Намджуна конечно , описаны такими мерзавцами и бандитами.. Может он хотел подвести к черте, за которой человечность и законность перестают быть главными в жизни людей..

Я согласен, что его так изображают. Но я также думаю, что изображение его невиновности и желания только любви является частью его прошлого детства. Поскольку все это случилось с его родителями, а он был один, у него есть потребность, так сказать, в стабильности семьи. Чтобы кто-то был связан. Кто-то, кто заставит его чувствовать себя любимым и в безопасности, что-то, чего у него не было после того, как у него забрали родителей. Но это только усложняет его психологию. Он хочет чувствовать эту связь с кем-то, но также он знает, что из-за того, что произошло и как он оказался наркоторговцем, в конце концов он может доверять только себе, потому что все вокруг него ненадежны. И он знает, как доверие его родителей к другим в конце концов привело их к беде. 😭

@@insfiresedits Ну да, и он же не передал записку Хосока для Тэхена.. И тем самым снова укрепил связущие нити всего этого ужаса и беспредела.. А тот наверно по привычке даже не усомнился в правильности его мести якобы палачу, убийце своего друга Хосока.. Хоть и встретил его живым, невредимым и перевербованным.. Ну а в конце вообще какая то шарада с местью, давно потерянными родными и низложением самой матери.. Почему то это нисколько не радует.. Неужели правда ее слова о детях втянутых в эти страшные дела?. И Намджун тоже был не в восторге от идеи Тэхена.. Неужели Мать была последним рубежом между сдерживаемой преступностью и тотальным, бесконтрольным буйством распоясавшихся криминальных воротил?..

have you read Ukiyo by Sharleena? or house of cards by sugamins? (i made trailers on those as well) i would also recommended other works by Vmintie if you like jewel of Busan a lot such as fatal compulsion.
