    @@lukedegraaf1186 "Hate" in this sense is not a very accurate translation of the meaning of the original Greek here. What is meant is that you're not supposed to love your family and your life MORE than you love Jesus - You're not supposed to choose them over Jesus. In ancient Greek there is no separate word for "dislike", so they use the word for "hate" - it also denotes to not choose something. In the context of this passage it doesn't literally mean to "hate" your family, it means to not choose your family over Christ Jesus.

    It's amazing the restrictions people are willing to place on an infinite omnipotent God, as if He were some man like us who just happens to have some tricks we don't understand. He is so far above us I don't know how anyone could say "He couldn't be three and one at the same time". Why not? He can do as He pleases, all existence is based on and originating from Him not the other way around.

    I've talked to many people about the trinity, one thing I often hear is "well, it doesnt make sense that God could be 3 persons in 1 being, you'd think God would be more simple". And to that I have always responded by asking why it would ever be the case that an infinite and all powerful being outside our realm of creation is easily understood by finite beings teathered to a finite realm of existence. There is truely no such thing as infinity except as a concept, so how could we ever come to fully understand an infinite being unbounded by any of our natural laws?

    This is some ridiculous gaslighting that Christian propagandists use to justify their heinous idolatry. "God is infinite and omnipotent, how can He not be a human" because, being a human means you're no longer omnipotent and your finite, thus you are NOT worthy of worship! It is in fact Christian propagandists that puts limit on the Infinite God, they say he can ONLY manifest Himself in 3 persons/beings. But why only 3 persons? Why not 5 persons? 12 Persons? A million persons? Or for an infinite omnipotent God, wouldn't he manifest himself into infinite persons? You see how ridiculous the pagan trinity sounds now? Notie how nobody (instead of pagan religions) efore Jesus ever spoke of a trinity? Notice how God, for 1500 years of Children of Israel worshipping Him, never said anything about trinity or other BS? Notice how Paul never said anything about the trinity? This trinity was only invented by the Council of Nicea in order to appease Roman pagans and make it easier for them to convert.

    @@pavinivfx think of all the other places in the Tanakh where God appears to humans, now, when has He ever said in those instances, worship me? Never Actually, He mainly shows up disguised as a man, to establish a connection, literally trying not to be recognized and terrify the lowly humans. He starts almost all of His dialogue with a question geared toward nudging the person into realising "what am I doing here?" Have you noticed that? From the Garden of Eden, His interactions have revolved around comforting, guiding and helping us (humans) realize what condition we are in. Hagar, Abraham, Jacob, Joshua, Gideon, Manoah. He never shows up as God demanding worship. He draws near with His divinity veiled in humanity, in order to reach them and us. Why would He suddenly change character? Jesus never demanded worship BUT He did accept it. There are multiple instances where He was recognized and worshipped and He allowed it. Contrast that with glorious angels, that are created a little higher than man, not allowing anyone to worship them and stressing God alone is to be worshipped. When Jesus asks questions like "Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone". He, who knows the mind, knew two things. The young man did not recognize Him as the Messiah and he also thought himself good since he had kept all the commandments from his youth. Jesus, again, asks questions to lead him to realize his condition. That young man was literally in the presence of one who WAS good and never sinned. Jesus wanted him to contrast that with what he believed about himself. Obviously if he had kept all the commandments from his youth, according to the teaching of the day, he would obtain eternal life. But the Holy Spirit had been drawing him to the realization that it wasn't enough. He KNEW it wasn't enough. There was something else, something more.. Jesus tried to draw him to the realization that here, before him, was that something. If he had recognized Jesus, not as a mere teacher but the Messiah, God with us, he would have obtained the eternal life he hopes for. He didn't, instead he showed he wasn't aware he needed to repent since he had kept all the law since his youth. Loving him, Jesus tried one last time to make him realize who He was. Jesus tells him to sell EVERYTHING and follow Jesus in poverty. Would you give up everything you own for a religious teacher? No. Would you if you knew He was the Messiah? YES and many did and lost everything after the resurrection. Look at Paul! He lost everything and didn't count the loss. For him to live was Christ. You need to read the gospels as a whole and not ignore all the other verses where Jesus clearly declares Himself divine.

    So Moses is also G'd because the term Elohim was also used on him (Parashah shemot). Also, this week We had the same term used by Judges (Parashah mishpatim). Elohim only refers to eternal when used in the absolute form or, with an noun: בראשית היה הדבר והדבר עם האלהים והדבר היה אלהים In the beginning was the word, and the word was with THE ELOHIM and the word was Elohim. We can see many of these double use of Elohim in Tehilim (psalms) and Torah. So, no, Mashiach is not G'd.

    @nataliezarco

    5 ай бұрын

    @@pavinivfx you are correct about" elohim" ( Hebrew) being used at times as a title magistrate in the OT BUT the Gospel of John was written in Greek not Hebrew. The Jewish leaders and scholars at the time of Jesus understood that the Messiah would be God based on prophecy, it's literally why the condemned Jesus to death (blasphemy=claiming to be God). It's found in Matthew 26:63-66. Mark 14:61-64 They asked if He was the Christ (Messiah) and lost their mind when He not only asserted He was but enraged them with the messianic prophecy (Daniel 7) where He (Messiah/ Son of Man) will come back in glory to receive worship and establish an eternal kingdom. The reason a lot of people didn't recognize Him as the Christ when He came is that they ignored the prophecy of the first coming of the Messiah (to be sacrificed as an Atonement offering for our sins Isaiah 53) and just focused on His glorious coming in glory to destroy the wicked and establish His kingdom forever on Earth. Read all the prophecies about the Messiah in the OT/Tanakh Isaiah, Micah, Psalms, Daniel then read Revelation.

    As a Christian of Jewish origin I tell you that the doctrine of the trinity does not come from God. When the manifestations of God in the flesh are described in the Old Testament we do not read that it was a so-called "second person" who manifested himself in the flesh but YHWH God himself as he is evident for example from Judges 2:1-3. And Scripture teaches that the Lord Jesus Christ is God the Eternal Father manifest in flesh and this also emerges from the comparison between John 2:19-21 and Galatians 1:1. This is a matter of salvation, in John 8:24 we read that the Lord Jesus Christ said that whoever does not believe that He is the I AM that is the God of my fathers the God of Israel YHWH that is the Eternal Father will die in his sins. The Lord Jesus Christ is YHWH God the Eternal Father and anyone who teaches anything different is a heretic and if he does not repent he will go to hell.

    No. Yeshua said only the father knows the day of his returning. If He is G'd, We have a problem because Elohim is omniscient. If the almighty can be limited by other, so He can't be almighty anymore. By elimination We can see trinity is a pagan theology. Unicism and immortality of the soul are the other concepts from Hellenism people absorbed, but Yeshua never said and acted like G'd. G'd being almighty, omnipotent and omniscient came to the world and pray for himself ??? Or He made his son to REPRESENT him, because We can't handle his power and keep alive? Learn Hebrew and you will see how is easy to know it.

Matthew 3:16-17 “As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” Does this mean there are three gods? No, there are three persons within the trinity, they exist as One God Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord” John 10:30 “I and the Father are one” I’m not saying this as a gotcha statement, but just to provide insight directly from the Bible regarding the nature of the Godhead, of course it may be hard to understand, but God speaking the universe into existence is also hard to comprehend. We can’t expect to fully understand God being three in one with our mortal minds. But in heaven, we will know.

    I'm so grateful that Jesus appeared to me in my vivid vision. I see Him face to face. The Holy Spirit testified that Jesus is the Father. Why? When Jesus appeared to me, the Holy Spirit gave me a song called "Father You Are So Good", to sing it infront of Jesus. The Holy Spirit said to me, He is sad because so many people have left Him and they don't appreciate His sacrifice. Meaning His sacrifice on the cross it was awesome vision. It was on 24th September 2020. He has a very beautiful blue eyes. Beautiful face, but so humble. At first I said to myself, I don't want to look at His face because I'm a sinner, He is Holy. I'm not worthy to see His face. And then a still small voice of the Holy Spirit said to me, "Look at His face." And I obey the voice, I slowly moved my face up to my left side to look at His face. He was sitting on my left hand side. Shiny behind His head, I saw His face, so beautiful,so blue colour eyes, His cheeks bit reddish sun-kissed skin, if you have seen Jimmy's mustache and beard in the movie the passion of Christ, Jesus' mustache and beard just like his. Long hair to His upto shoulders. I don't know how did I know it,but I saw compassion in His eyes, I saw love, forgiveness, caring in His eyes,so humble, meek, and gentle. And I saw this world spinning on the palm of His hands. This world was spinning on the palm of a his hands, this world is small. Imagine our Father can hold this world, for us human, this world is big 😊. This world like a small globe spinning o the palm of a his hands. And He made my eyes and Him connected, we zoomed down to this world, as we getting closer to the earth, I saw clouds, as we getting closer I saw the buildings. Guess what country did Jesus showed me? It was AMERICA. HE cares about AMERICA. We saw, so many people were burning buildings in AMERICA. It was back in September 2020. Jesus saw the black lives matter movement burning buildings. And after that we went back up to where we were. And I looked at His eyes, I saw tears in His eyes. He was so sad, I saw sadness and disappointment in His eyes. And I felt it too, I felt sad when I see Him sad. I was crying too. And the Holy Spirit spoke to me, "He is sad because this world has no more compassion, so many have left Him and they didn't appreciate His sacrifice (I know exactly what that means, His sacrifice on the cross). It was so sad. I was broken hearted. My Saviour crying because us His children has no more compassion. And then I asked questions to myself what I'm going to do to make Him happy? And then the Holy Spirit replied, sing for Him. And I said, what song im going to sing? I forgot all the songs. The Holy Spirit replied, sing this. And automatically the song transferred in me, I sand the song infront of Jesus. Amazingly I stil remember that song until now. See how vivid dream was. I felt Jesus took my soul up, I wore the same clothes that I wore when I went to bed that early morning. I saw my house, my washing line outside,I was standing near our water tap, I felt the grass so cold and wet because was early morning. That's how the vision started. I can't write all the details of my vision. It's just Amazing. Hope this blesses you whomever reads this. Just have Faith and be humble.

    Jeff, you're using the terms trinity and human. Both are not scriptural describing the Godhead. I agree with you that Jesus is God. Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead bodily. But I won't call him or us humans or a trinity as having separate persons being the spirit, the body and the soul. Yes they are separate that amount to three. But, they are the three parts that make up the one person. Jesus is the physical body, God is the soul which is the invisible mirror image of the body Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is the eternal life of God. Those three parts make up the one God. Thus the reason there is only one title in scripture describing God as "God the Father." Not two additional titles saying "God the Son" and "God the Holy Spirit." Otherwise, Deuteronomy 6:4 in the King James version would be hypocritical. So would any other correct translation of another language in Deuteronomy 6:4. Last time I checked I didn't have the separate persons and titles in me. And I'm made in the image and likeness of God. So why would God? Jeff, you really should read a book called; "The Godhead Doctrine " by Bryan Denlinger. It will help you understand the make up of the Godhead. You can find it on Amazon. I send this with pray and love in Christ Jesus.

    As a Christian of Jewish origin I say that when our father Avraham saw the Lord God YHWH manifested in the flesh, I mean the episode narrated in Genesis 18, he knew very well that he was before the One True God manifested in the flesh and this also applies to all manifestations of God as מלאך־יהוה or the angel of YHWH. Our fathers, the ancient Israelites knew that the מלאך־יהוה was YHWH himself and did not believe that he was another "person" or another "hypostasis" and one of the many examples of this also emerges from Judges 2:1-3. And verses such as Acts 16:6-7, Romans 8:9 and Galatians 4:6 when compared with verses such as John 14:9, 2Corinthians 5:19 and Colossians 2:9 clearly demonstrate that the Lord Jesus Christ is God the Eternal Father manifested in the flesh and in fact also from the comparison between 1 Timothy 3:16 and 1 Corinthians 8:6 in which we read that the only God is the Father we understand that the Father manifested himself in the flesh and the Bible teaches that he is the Lord Jesus Christ God the Eternal Father manifested in flesh. And that the Lord Jesus Christ is God the Eternal Father manifested in flesh also emerges from the comparison between John 2:19-21 and Galatians 1:1. Furthermore, it is not at all true that the Father cannot be seen as is clear from John 6:46. The doctrine of the trinity does not come from the Bible as can also be clearly seen from the fact that some polytheistic peoples worshiped triunities. In Egypt, for example, they worshiped a triunity made up of three false gods called Ptah-Sokar-Osiris and the thing to note is that the idol that represented it was one, as can still be seen today in certain museums, therefore the so-called concept of three in one it does not come from the God of Israel. You are heretics and when you teach that the God of our fathers the God who freed us from slavery in Egypt is a trinity you are teaching a falsehood, repent and believe in the True and Only God of Israel Eternal Father Lord Jesus Christ and stop teaching the doctrine of the trinity or the wrath of God will remain upon you.

    Great explanation. So what do we make of doctrines out there that say God The Father and Jesus The Son are two separate beings. One in purpose but not one God? After the resurrection of Jesus - John 20:17 “Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not, for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend to my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”

    As Jesus was walking on the water of the sea of Galilee said to his disciples, "do not fear it is I" matthew 14:27 which the true translation really is Jesus saying do not fear, I AM. God, the father said that so much in the Old Testament, and yet here Jesus is saying the same thing.

    To anyone who has issues with understanding how a thing can be three in one yet all three are equally the one. Look to the example of light. The Trinity (The Godhead) When the Hebrew shema declares, "Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God is one LORD: "(Deuteronomy 6:4), it signifies that JEHOVAH our Elohim [Gods] is one [echad] JEHOVAH.' Elohim is a plural noun. The word "one" (echad) also allows plurality, as seen in Genesis 2:24, Exodus 36:13, or 2nd Samuel 2:25. Other Old Testament references to God are also plural. (e.g., Psalm 149:2 'maker', Ecclesiastes 12:1 'creator' , Isaiah 54:5 'husband', Genesis 3:22, 1:26, 11:7, Isaiah 6:8 'us') Yet Elohim [Gods] says, "I AM THAT I AM" (Exodus 3:14) -- One God. This Trinity us expressed in Isaiah 48:12-16. Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last. Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth...from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me. New bible version not only sabotage this key Old Testament verse, but further clear Satan's path to the throne by dissolving four of the most aignificant New Testament verses of the Trinity. NIV, NASB bible versions, et al. "divine nature" -Romans 1:20 KJV Bible "Godhead" - Romans 1:20 NIV, NASB, et al "Deity" - Col. 2:9 KJV Bible "Godhead" - Col. 2:9 NIV, NASB , et al "divine being" - Acts 17:29 KJV Bible "Godhead" - Acts 17:29 NIV, NASB, et al OMIT - 1 John 5:7,8 KJV Bible "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. - 1 John 5:7,8 Spiritualists (the term ascribed to Westcott by his son) believe , "The doctrine of the Trinity seems to have no adherents in advanced circles of the spirit world." Hort's hostility to 1 John 5:7,8 haunts his writing. "It could be gotten rid of.., " he stabs. One NIV editor admits, "It is the strongest statement in the KJV on the Trinity." So out it goes from the NIV; its omission is masked to readers because the NIV steals some of verse 8 and calls it verse 7. The NASB's slight of hand instead slipped out some of verse 6 and call it 7. For 100 years the 'Master Magician' has mesmerized his 'captive' audience with this type of legerdemain. His hex always sounds EXACTLY the same. However 'the Magician' can't keep the rabbit hidden for long. The testimony of early writers, the great mass of Old Latin and Vulgate manuscripts, the necessities of Greek syntax and the cry of the priesthood of believers, all mandate its inclusion in the text. The real reason for the omission of the Trinity: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost in 1 John 5:7,8 becomes apparent in a verse which follows it. This is the true God...- 1 John 5:20 Early evidence includes Versions: Old Syriac A.D. 170, Old Latin A.D. 200, Vulgate: 4th snd 5th century, Italic: 4th snd 5th century Writers: Tatian A.D. 150, Tertullian A.D. 200, Cyprian A.D. 225, Athanasius A.D. 350, Pricillian A.D. 350, Vadmarium A.D. 380, Cassian A.D. 435, Jerome A.D. 450, Cassiadorius A.D. 480, Vigilius A.D. 484, Victor-Vita A.D. 489, Fulgentius A.D. 533, PS Athabasius A.D. 550. Jeff, I love your all’s channel God is really using you all to reach the Jewish people. With that said Scripture is clear that God is one, that is what scripture plainly teaches. The trinitarian formula of “ three in one” is found nowhere in scripture. The trinity is a doctrine that arose after the apostles and is a stumbling block that keeps many Jews and Muslims from coming to faith in Christ. The clear teaching of the New Testament is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, not God himself which is why he could be seen yet of the Father even Jesus himself said in John 6:46 “Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father.” Jesus is the “ image of the invisible God” and “God in nature” as Philippians says but is in person the Son of God. He is the “ Angel of the LORD” from the Old Testament who carries the presence of Yahweh and appeared to the patriarchs. Since he is the image of God and fully divine he is worthy of worship as we see in Revelation however Jesus himself said in John 17:3 “ And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” Jesus calls the Father the only true God, this is because even Jesus Christ came from Him he is begotten not created yet he still came from God. To me 1 Corinthians 8:6 is the clearest verse on the subject “ yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.” Jesus is the only begotten Son of God who died for the sins of the world this is the teaching of the New Testament.
