Man I haven’t been to South Padre Island since I was a kid! My dad and I would always go deep sea fishing or bay fishing when we’d vacation there sometimes! I miss it so much! This video was a big nostalgia trip, bro! Nice! 😎🤙

Amen brother! I drive 4 hours each way to fish one day at the port a jetties. Took me three trips to even get a bite! But I watched and learned just like you’re taking about. I’d feel like shit on my way home but I’d be planning that next trip before my head hit the pillow that night. Great video another crispy one 🤙🏻

Awesome video man next time try going to a place called the east cut its a jetty that requires you to drive the beach with 4x4 used to be a honey hole when i was little with my dad just drive through the last beach access and then drive down the beach there is a sunken shrimp boat as a half way point

Best spots are not always easy if not impossible to catch a fish. It's all about the grind!

That Cero was a badass fish! We don’t see a lot of those in Texas. Also, is it a little weird using a reel that doesn’t get quite the distance as a 525 Mag or super tuned Avet? I want to see how that reel does after it gets a little love from the ceramics division.

@SeaBozz good to know! I dropped a gofish camera about 200 yards off the beach, man SPI beaches get deep! The gut between the 2nd bar to 3rd is at least 10 feet deep.

You need steel wire attached to the leader line. I was the dude in the white long sleeve at 10:40.

Them jacks pampano and we got two typs of hammer head white tip bull got maco got one more i forgot got onebull red bull fish black drums got ribbon fish got mullet i done brackish and ocean and fresh water
