In a shallow water start you will stand next to your Jetsurf, the hand without a kill switch attached will put the kill switch into the handle, then you will hold the board on both handles with both hands and put you leg which is next to the board on your Jetsurf. Make sure you give some acceleration in order to have a good start.
In a deep water start you will swim next to your Jetsurf, the hand without a kill switch attached will put the kill switch into the handle, then you will hold the board on both handles with both hands and wait 5 seconds till the engine starts. Make sure you accelerate in order to get moving while pulling yourself up on your Jetsurf.
