Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

At only $450 CAD, the Jetson Bolt Pro is one of the cheapest ebikes on the Canadian market. Can this little city ebike take on a long trip in Lake Louise.
We tested 2 Jetson Bolt Pro ebikes on a 20km trip at 5°C and here are our impressions.

Around the 4:00 mark, suspension was mentioned. I don’t recall the stock seat really well. I replaced them IMMEDIATELY with seats springs. It helps SO much. People love spending a ton on accessories. This one is a must, depending on the terrain. Simply cross railroad tracks is enough for me to justify the purchase. Holy hell.

One of the two ebikes ran out of juice after only 9km and the other one ran out after 20km. We did leave both bike outside over night and one could be more exposed to the cold than the other. Or Solomon is just heavier than John.

So you were pedaling moat of the way there and it still ran out of juice? It has been a few months now. Was it a bad battery out of the box? Did you still have range issues? Thanks

@@bradenbushert3121 No, it was not a bad battery at all. The reduced range was just a result of cold weather. We were able to complete a 60km challenge with the Jetson Bolt Pro, though with the help of a fast charger in our latest video. Check it out!

I ride this bike more than my Lectric XP. Can take this on challenging hiking trails; over large rocks & boulders that aren unrideable across....I'd carry it while the Lectric is too heavy. Wish it was 2-3 MPH faster though. The gearing makes the pedaling almost useless while in PAS. To get some exercise on flat ground, you have to turn off the motor.

From what I've seen in other reviews, the speed controller may have a power save feature at diminishing battery levels and it could permit the voltage to recover a little like parking does. Mine went from one bar back up to two bars just as I got home from it's longest ride yesterday. Go figure. I'm gonna convert mine to an off road runner with a speed controller I have left over from another bike and add a lockable throttle. I'm also gonna set it up for external batteries to extend the range since I have a few 36 volts left over from my faster bikes. One is a LiFePo 12ah.

Just bought one yesterday at Costco in northern california for $330 minus the promotion of $70 making it only $260 US. There are many videos on modifications but the first one I'm doing is to add a second battery to be placed on a rear rack attached in parallel to the existing battery to double the distance

Elevation will lower range, as Will differences in rider weight, also riding style, if one rider uses more throttle and the other uses more pedal assist. Cold definitely lowers lithiums ability to supply power, last night came home it was mild and I was getting full speed despite 36% battery left, kept in house overnight, but -15c overnight, this morning battery had recovered to 40%, yet I could tell it was underpowered on commute to work this morning.

The lithium battery in the bike can hold less of a charge and also not work as efficiently when it is exposed to cold temperatures so maybe that's why you were experiencing those battery issues while riding.

There is a reason that they're so cheap. A very small cheap made battery, cheap Controller and cheap LED light for the battery indicator. But when you modify them, these things are a blast. Mine runs 36 miles an hour.
