Well that was pretty damn cool, if I may say so my ever Tull-lovin’ self! Love the spontaneous flute jig, but wait, was that John Evan’s track straight from the original album? Totally cool, as he deserves massive kudos for one of the best, most memorable piano pieces in a rock song. Well done chaps!

Thanks for watching. Ya I kind of dropped the ball a bit, by the time I got the vocals being close my voice was a bit blown out and I could off also made a few better mixing choice with them also. Its just about having fun for me.

Clearly, several parts, including the flute, are mimed. However, the rapid cuts during the flute solo made it look worse. That's sad because it's a very good attempt at a rarely covered song. Best Wishes. ☮

Flute player stoled the show. Guitar players are a dime a dozen

Thumbs up for creativity….but…..the vocalist character is 180 degrees off. Rather than zombielike would have crushed it with high energy movements and mannerisms.

As a fan of 37-40 years.. You did a lovely job with the song, but you have NO idea what's it about judging by your video. HINT It has nothing to do with trains

This form of vocals really doesn't suit this song, making it a typical metal song. And the way Ian performed it is unique and interesting.

Too much singer guy arms.. but a good tune.

Vocals are great IMO

This is what happens when the singer gets the job because he has the longest hair. Barely adequate vocal job on an otherwise extremely well played version.

I used to sing this song live in the '70s, our rendition of it once swung an audition our way, we found out afterwards. I always judge it severely. As for the long haired hippies, maintain the ideals, lest that hair fall out like mine did...Peace.

Nope. Nice intro, but once the vocals start, sorry. Ian Anderson this is not. Not only do the vocals not work for me, but the rest of the video disappoints too. But a nice try I guess. Hard to compete against a classic rock song like this.
