The rambling comedy style of Jethro has been making people laugh now for over 30 years.
Born the youngest son of a farmer in 1948, Jethro was brought up in the little Cornish village of St Buryan. After leaving school he worked as a carpenter, and after his apprenticeship went to work in a Cornish tin mine as a timber man before going into entertainment.
At the age of 18 after much persuasion Jethro joined the St Just and District Operatic Society, and after taking a principle part people soon realised he had a special talent to make his audience laugh
Since those early days he now sells over
250,000 theatre tickets a year, appearing in over 170 theatres and has an enormous cult following.
Over the years Jethro has made a record nine TV appearances on the Des O'Connor Show, as well as five appearances on Jim Davidson's Generation Game.
Jethro lives in Lewdown on the Devon/Cornwall border. His great love are his horses which he shows all over the country and has won most major prizes including Wembley.
