The paint in the bottom of my began chipping a little on my first use. Is that normal?

@@benjaminanthony5201 that’s a good question. Mine hasn’t had that issue, still looks good as new. Maybe you can send an email over to Jetboil and see if they will replace it

I've had the same jetboil since 1999, the titanium doesn't chip lol its a miracle

Hello! Yes, with the jetboil flash there is not a regulator

I have a jetboil. It’s terrible for everything except boiling water in hot weather 😂. Poor flame control. Very localised heat at the bottom of the cup which burns food easily. The gas canisters are daylight robbery where I live 💸, cant be carried on a plane, and are a pain to find. And the butane cans suffer in cold climates. Got a new MSR whisperlite to try out soon 🤞🏻 not as compact, but hopefully a little more versatile 😊
I have one but the lid comes off when draining poring hot water everywhere
