Cheers Steve! Those old 737s are so noisy compared to the easyJet A320NEO we’re more used to! 😀

Great video. We're flying with Jet2 in September and looking forward to it. Flew with them a few years ago and they were very good. Flew with Ryanair the last couple of years and got stung for nearly £50 for a bag that was slightly bigger than your average tablet. The sour faced woman was clearly on a mission to rake in as much as she could. That was us just setting off on holiday, great start. It will never happen again as I simply won't ever fly with them again. Out of principle I would rather pay more for a flight than give as much as a single penny to Ryanair.

Thanks so much for watching, Kevin. We try and avoid RyanAir if at all possible. Over 10 years ago I had a truly dreadful experience with them that even got reported in The Scotsman newspaper. Have had a few flights since but we're not fans at all. Enjoy your trip with Jet2 and have a great holiday. 😀

Great Roger that you and Mrs E, enjoyed your flight. Impressed with the flight menu, but even more so, with the pizza and burger, pre flight! I thought for one minute, that you'd just landed BACK from Tenerife, you both looked great! Looking forward to the Tenerife vlogs, never been there! Hope your cat is being looked after, and doesn't miss you too much! Enjoy the hols!

Two observations - I've never seen such a menu on ANY flight! WOW! And secondly, wondering if there were a bunch of Americans on that flight with all that applause 🤣. That's not that unusual on the flights I've been on, especially if they've had lots of turbulence!

Great video, very informative. Can I ask a very random question but how tall are you? Me and my husband are looking to fly with jet2 and don't know whether to book extra leg room seats as we are both 6ft plus. There looks a good amount of leg room in the 'normal' seating but it can be deceiving. Many thanks in advance.

Hello Sally! Thanks for watching. I’m 5ft 11in. In truth, I would always buy extra legroom seats if I can - but they had already gone when we booked those flights. That said we were perfectly comfortable! 😀

I’d say they were on a par. Though one thing Jet2 say they won’t do is have you waiting on the air-jetty or steps for ages like easyJet do. If you buy Speedy Boarding on easyJet you often just get to be the first to go and wait on the air-jetty. And of course the older Boeing 737s are very noisy compared to the easyJet A320NEOs. 😀
