Consul General Iyori recently
welcomed returning JET Program participants who
brought their memories and the spirit of Japan back to
the Northwest.
Sponsored by the Japanese government, the Japan
Exchange and Teaching Program allows college
graduates to live and work in Japan, typically for one to
five years.
Consul General Iyori expressed his gratitude for the
JET returnees and the impact of the program, which
fosters cultural bridges and lifelong friendships.
From classrooms to karaoke bars, the JET returnees
shared their unique experiences in Japan, inspiring the
next generation of adventurers!
