Their manager is awesome to listen to! He's obviously not very intelligent, but he's one or those guys that has learned a few "big" words and uses them completely out of context to try to make himself sound intelligent. He loves using "superfluous" in places that don't even make sense. I love listening to him!

He's not only not intelligent, he's very socially inept, I sense a little bit of Autism almost. Seeing as he has a decent vocabulary and understanding of what he says, but has no ability whatsoever to interact in a social setting. He is a riot to listen to, I can see why Howard was annoyed, though lol.

I'm surprised no other bands have tried this. I think it was really just drugs and alcohol that mess these guys up. You can say what they want but they had major record labels interested in them. Even with how obnoxious they were acting. If it wasn't for having problems with drugs and alcohol these guys would have done some interesting stuff. If you put a lot of bands who you don't know especially bands that are kind of part act or theatrical they might not seem that great at first. Thinking of a band like Marilyn Manson. Obviously some bands are just awesome musicians but a lot of bands have some gimmick to why they are popular. Anyway it definitely wasn't bad and it could have been cool I think it just shows that drugs and alcohol can mess a lot of possibilities up

Kudos to their energy, and courage, however, I think it comes from ignorance and naivety. These two fools are only in their early twenties and have been easily duped into thinking they're more than what they are. In time, as they learn self reflection, they'll be sure to cringe should they come across this recording...And now that one of them is dead, I'm sure the other isn't too anxious to revisit the performance.

I watched this episode when it came out. While they came off as arrogant and annoying, give them their due. They talked their way onto and performed on the greatest radio program ever, in its prime. I look back on these guys with nothing but fondness. They were cool.
