    actually, she was barren which is why all her husbands divorced her. She was not immoral, Truth is you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about

    @@soledisguy The Sages of the time knew and understood the culture they lived in. A wife was expected to produce children, if she couldnt then it was common practice for her husband to divorce her. We are told she had had many husbands and this is the reason why. The oral teachings of the Sages are fundamental for proper stewardship of biblical revelation. Both the Tanak and the Oral words are the words of God. The written word requires refinement through careful study and proper interpretation. Remember, the responsibility of guarding the Torah and its proper interpretation was given to The Israelites, not to the gentile nations.
