Jesus Shall Reign (Hymn 120)

00:00 - intro/background of the hymn
01:17 - song performance
1. Jesus shall reign where’er the sun
Does its successive journeys run;
His kingdom spread from shore to shore,
Till moons shall wax and wane no more.
2. To Him shall endless prayer be made,
And endless praises crown His head;
His name like sweet perfume shall rise
With ev’ry morning sacrifice.
3. People and realms of ev’ry tongue
Dwell on His love with sweetest song,
And infant voices shall proclaim
Their early blessings on His name.
4. Let ev’ry creature rise and bring
Honor and glory to our King;
Angels descend with songs again,
And earth repeat the loud “Amen”!

    Many of Psalms is Jesus talking to God the Father , through David as a prophet , and so much of Psalms depicts the coming reign of the Lord Jesus on Earth in millennial reign,,

    Nothing like a hymn about the Second Coming written in the world before Darby's dispensationalism.

    Christ has a Name and it is Jesus. Christ means anointing; His Name shall be called Jesus for He will save His people from their sins. The whole family...is named Jesus. Whatever you do, do it in the Name of Jesus Christ. Hopefully I have made my point.

    At 103 Phil Staes that were need repentance to obtain salvation,, rather than Christ/ Jesus paid it all,, our works are as filthy rags,,I believe in this dispensation or Age of Grace we are saved by what Jesus did and have NOTHING to contribute,, how could we possibly add any of our fruitless works compared to what the LJChrist did on our behalf,, , we have nothing to add,, Eph 2,8-9 and many others tell us how to be saved ,, its by GRACE,, Not of WORKS lest any man should boast,, and confessing sins is a work , acknowledging Christ as Savior who died for me and belief in that ,, just BELIEVE is not a work,,

    True Grace WILL produce True Repentance and abhorrence of all sins. those who claim they are standing within grace but do not manifest True Repentance in their lives, loving their sins and ego, they are deceiving themselves and never knew or experience True Grace.

    Repentance means ; you are sorry for the sins you have committed. Are you sorry for your sins? Or are you happy with your sins?
