@@deguilhemcorinne418I see your point, but believe me, it really is all about Jesus. Always has been and always will be. It’s something you have to experience it for yourself to truly understand it, reading random pages of the Bible and realizing it was about Him all this time, it’s enlightening

The whole book is about the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank him everyday for saving me!

My favourite which nobody seems to be noticing is Joseph in prison and his two inmates. In 3 days the bread maker is executed but the cupbearer is restored next to the king to hold his cup. Body dies but spirit lives. Also Joseph asks the cupbearer to remember him when he is out. He forgets for a while but then when the king is tormented by a dream he remembers Joseph. Christ in the cross also laments "Father, have you forgoten me?". To make this also more present, even the two thieves rappresent the two inmates of Joseph. Where one dies but the one accepts Jesus and is saved from.

Rather curious that you try to use that statement to say there are no OT prophecies concerning Christ because Jesus' last line on the cross is actually a quotation of a prophetic psalm that was being fulfilled in that very moment. If you are genuinely curious about this and not just trolling you might find psalm 22 interesting. It begins with that line and focuses mostly on the crucifixion until prophesying the resurrection. Some of the animal references are interesting if you are familiar with Hebrew but that is a long rabbit hole.

@@SevPlays what does Christ quoting Psalms have to do with OT prophecy? Many martyrs cry quotes, usually regarding the ideology they're being executed for, during their executions. That has absolutely zero to do with that quote being a prophecy. It's just a last rebuke of those who didn't believe what they were professing. But if you want to know if there are any prophecies about Christ in the old testament, just ask the Jews... Whom the book belongs to. They'll set you straight pretty quickly lol

Half the names in that genealogy means man, then if you go to root meaning of the name like Kenan(means spear), then Mahalalel(means praise of God) Jared (means to come down) Enoch(means if you go to the root word, palate, roof of the mouth, gums) And after Enoch is Methuselah(which is "man of the dart") I'm not sure where you're getting the majority of these other words. Where are you getting this breakdown of the names when half of them I cannot find the meaning. At least share your source so I can understand where you're coming from, otherwise this is not helpful. It's just adding meaning to the text that isn't there to begin with. I'm all for a deep dive, but if it's not backed up by scripture then it's simply gibberish.

Many years ago Oral Roberts did a teaching called THE RED THREAD - He went through every book of the Bible in a thrilling manner from Genesis to Revelation - "In Genesis He was the promised seed of the woman"..hit every book... to "in Revelation He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!" On my 30th bday, I memorized and taught it!

The whole Bible is about Jesus and the salvation of humanity. Christ concealed (Old Testament) Christ revealed (New Testament). All biblical prophecy points to Jesus

The NT is a book written largely by gentiles opening a pathway to their savior and their God. I am a gentile. You, are probably a gentile. Yeah it's not so much a Book. It's the living, breathing Word of God. Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) For the word of God is quick [alive], and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

In the beginning in the book of John. Clearly states Jesus Christ is the word of the Lord. Jesus claims that before Abraham he was. On Genesis 15:1 the word of the Lord(Jesus) came to speak to Abraham. It all makes sense.

For starters anybody can ride into Jerusalem on a donkey, but what about Zech 9:10, that was supposed to happen on that day, but it didn't. That Prophet is Joshua, what good does Jesus do for the Israelites in the desert? What exactly did Moses write about Jesus? Isaiah 7:14 doesn't say the virgin shall conceive. It say's the young maiden is with child. Malachi is talking about the third temple. Why would Jesus need to purify Levi to present offerings if they were already offering? Isaiah 53 is being written about a servant, a servant that was named several times from Isaiah 42 and on. Isaiah 60:3 is talking about the same servant that is called the light to the nations in Isaiah 42:6 and Isaiah 49:6. I can't even continue with this, its a tragedy that people here actually think what your saying is true.

As Moses lifted up the bronze serpent so that those who look to it are saved, so was Jesus. As Psalm 22 & Isaiah 53 describe crucifixion and as the Passover lamb which was to be eaten and its blood on the door saved them and as the sacrificial lamb symbolized the atoning for sins, so was Jesus. As the high Priest in the tabernacle sprinkles the blood of the sacrifice on the golden mercy seat in the holy of holies, so was Jesus. Betrayed: betrayed for 30 pieces of silver (Zec11:13); Crucifixion: be rejected by His own people; pierced & atone for our sins (Isa53:3-10) Sacrifice: bring an end to sin (Dan9:24) Resurrection As Jonah spent three days and three nights in the belly of a great fish, so was Jesus' resurrection from the dead on the third day. As Issac was to be sacrificed on the third day and was delivered from death, so was Jesus. Resurrection: rise from the dead (Ps16:10); After ascension: become a Light to the Gentiles and all nations (Isa60:3); worshipped by all nations (Dan9:14)

It would probably be better for your case if you just left the OT to who it belongs to...and stop trying to force bad theology onto it. Hint: it isn't Christians.

This is a good start and it just scratches the surface! You mention explicit prophecy about the Seed, or Son (Christ). But Christ is woven throughout each story. For example, the apostles tell us that Adam himself was an archetype, and marriage (a "great mystery") is a thing concerning Christ and the Church. In other words, marriage is made in the image of Christ and the Beloved there in the beginning as the man was put into a "deep sleep", and the Beloved was made of him and for him. The Church is also, of Christ and for Christ, members of His body. Also, Melchizedek is the priesthood and priest appearing before the lesser were established. Christ is in the same line of Melchizedek, and being eternal, it is safe to say that Melchizedek is not a type, but a Christophany. Christ is also seen in the children given as sons of promise in the patriarchs. They are the great expectation and hope. This is especially evident in Joseph, the first and last who was predestined, betrayed, and raised up to the highest place for the salvation of many. That's just Genesis. Christ is all in all.

there are mistakes in this video. some words written are not the same as those said. at 2:31, il is said: tha land that was to be sacrificed. shouldn't it be tha lamb? and at 3:43, it says: our ancestors eat the man in the wilderness. shouldn't we read: our ancestors ate the manna ...? i stopped after that so i don't know if there are other errors...these should be corrected so it doesn't confuse baby christians...

And the office of Royal Steward (seen in Isaiah 22:20) is hidden in the New Testament (cf. Matthew 16:19). Most Christians don't know this!

Informative video, however it could have gone without any of the graven images, in my humble opinion.

Also something to note about the book of Job. Elihu, comes out of the blue and rebukes everyone and says that He speaks on behalf of God. So I believe he is Jesus in the flesh. Note the meaning of the name Elihu, then God when he speaks to Job, He echoes what Elihu had already said. So Jesus does show up in the flesh also in the OT, to Joshua, as the king of Salem and Elihu. As far as I know.

Son - בְּרֵ God - א The Son of God is depicted in the first three letters. Thorns - שִׁית‎ Head - רֵאשִׁ And he would have thorns on his head, just as Jesus had a crown of thorns. Cypress Tree - בְּרֵשִׁ According to traditions, the Romans used cypress tree wood for cruxification. "The Son of God, with thorns on his head, hanging on a tree." 🙏

Mistranslation. Bro it doesnt say The Word was God, it says "The Word was devine! " Yes everybody accepts that something or somebody can be devine but NOT GOD.

Son of David is implicitly narrated in almost every Book, not the Son of Spirit. Even the Son of Spirit prophesied the coming of Son of David as another Comforter.

The Lord Jesus Christ has delivered me from drug addiction, homelessness, abusive relationships, evil spirits (yes they're real) , sexual immorality, swearing, lying, stealing, laziness.. and even more. I give all the glory to Him. All praise and worship belong to God. He is real. He is bigger than any problem you face. He will meet you where you are at. Even right now.
