“God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
This verse shows that God loves you and created you for a life that is full and meaningful (John 10:10)!
Why is it that most people are not experiencing this abundant life? Because all of us sin, and our sin has separated us from God (Romans 3:23).
We were created to have fellowship with God, but because of our stubborn self-will, we chose to go our own way, and our fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is what the Bible calls sin.
“The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Death is spiritual separation from God.
God is holy and people are sinful, and a great gulf separates us. We are continually trying to reach God and the abundant life through our own efforts, such as a good life, philosophy, or religion - but we fail.
Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. Through Him we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives! Jesus died in our place (Romans 5:8), rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:3-6), and is the only way to God (John 14:6). God has bridged the gulf that separates us from Him by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for our sins.
We must individually receive Jesus Christ through faith as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives (Ephesians 2:8-9). When we receive Christ, we experience a new birth.
Jesus says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him” (Revelation 3:20).
Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us what He wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for your sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. You receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will.
You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer.
Prayer is talking to God. God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. Here is a suggested prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.”
If this prayer expresses the desire of your heart, then you can pray this prayer right now and Christ will come into your life, as He promised.

Blindness (spiritual blindness) is a theme which runs through the entire Bible (see: Isaiah); and, Jesus' healing (or opening the eyes of) the blind man undoubtedly is related to the human problem with which God has been contending, since the beginning. At the end of the book of Job, the afflicted one says to God: "My ears had heard of you, but now my eyes have seen you".
I have the problem with my left eye. Hopefully, Jesus will heal me soon. I always believe in Him and His Miracle.

+alice laing Indeed, it also touched mine, and made me a tad misty-eyed as well. As far as reading the Bible goes, I have been reading it nearly every night as part of an outlined plan to finish it within a year, but me wanting to study and meditate on it more intently usually means the hour is late when I'm done.

alice laing There is absolutely no need for you to feel that way. Nearly everyone makes their own personal journey of faith in life, even if it means straying from its path at times, but (and this is only my humble opinion) I think a common theme is the desire to follow and serve something other than ourselves.

+alice laing That's quite all right. The point I was trying to make is that if one is willing to look beyond themselves and their own pride, they can make their first steps in a personal journey of faith, and can also see how they are able to help others in ways big and small.

Blind Bartimaeus was always meditating on victory, he never saw himself as a blind man forever he knew that one day somehow he is going to see. One shocking thing I realize from this, is that he was seated amongst other blind beggars who have probably given up on life and are comfortable with their situation but Bartimaeus was never comfortable with his situation and he deliberately deny to see himself as a victim of blindness. That’s why when Jesus was passing he could sense the power and the presence of Jesus and he started shouting Jesus , Son of David. The problem is not always the problem the problem is our attitude about that problem. Because Blind Bartimaeus attitude was positive and he denied to see himself as a victim(his Faith) attracted Jesus towards him and he got his healing. He denied to see himself blind, he denied to see himself as a victim, he denied to see him self as a failure, he denied to allow his circumstance/situation to defeat him. That’s the reason why he separated himself from this group of people who see themselves as failures and have probably accepted that they will never see again and what Happened he received his healing. He didn’t doubted Jesus and when Jesus asked him “What do u want me to do for u”? He was so quick n precise and Said “I want to see “ and because of the good attitude he showed and the Faith that he had caused his miracle instantly. Until u separate urself from the crowd/wrong thinking u will never be qualified for a miracle/breakthrough Quit seeing urself as a victim of circumstances and step out by Faith and grab the opportunities that God has purposes and planned for u. Remember we are elevated through circumstances/obstacles , never u retreat when circumstances tell u that u can’t make it but step out with Faith and say to your self “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength for with him all things are possible”

Wow, thank you for this! I've never seen it in this way before, I knew that Bartimaeus was determined to receive a breakthrough, because even though it is not clearly shown in this video, the bible says that the people in the crowd tried to silence him, telling him to keep quiet, but Blind Bartimaeus shouted even louder, that act alone shows his determination, striving to see a victory in his life. But truly the way you've explained it, is spot on, I can relate to what you've said especially looking at where I am right now in my life. God richly bless you for sharing this 🥰🙏
