I cheer your creative genius of presenting classics in a new way -- from your unique take on (and performance of) the White Album to this bold and truly original interpretation of JCS, I have to say thank you. I listen frequently to both volumes of She Is Risen, which total about half the songs from JCS -- I look forward to enjoying the entire collection. (I also hope the production is released on CD / LP, because I'm old fashioned!

Be honest: How many times have you searched for those glasses while they were perched on top of your head? 🙂

What is wrong with the music community? Just like Hollywood, there is no longer any originality, no more creativity, just rehashes and reboots of old songs, old stories and old musicals. This is boring, mundane and repetitious. What's next? A 'Hair' revisit? Maybe a 'Car Wash' musical? Enough already! Let's see and hear something fresh, innovative, exciting! Something with substance, relevance, something with ground-breaking, melodically-pleasing content... and something lyrically decipherable and maybe relatable! Can ANYONE conjure up ANYTHING like that, or are we all going to labor under the inability (or lack of vision) of musicians and celebrities who simply choose to duplicate/imitate past offerings of original material instead of actually creating new and exhilarating fare? Spare us the love fest interviews. I can't tell whether you are all trying to convince US or YOURSELVES that this fiasco is a good idea. This is so far beneath you, MJ.

Touching this original material and gender swapping it, is sacrilegious!! And I'm an Atheist. There's certain songs that were created perfect and known A-list artists won't cover and if they do, they won't change, add or make it their own because those songs can't be touched. Jesus Christ Superstar original songs are among those you do not change, period! Why not gender swap Mary Magdalene songs to be fair? *what's good for the goose is good for the gander, no?* Just goes to show, again, women can't create their own stuff and have to take songs/material written by men, performed by men and made immortal in the process by men and women of the original cast that has produced hundreds of concert with different casts, but never gender swapped. And here we are, with women who think they can do better than men by taking original source material that no one has ever dared to swap in any way, shape or form and decide to gender swap the whole thing except for the female parts in the original. If you're all so great at what you do, why can't you come up with your own material instead of riding the coattails of the men that created the original score and the men that sang it? *You're not creative, you're all simply copycats!*
