Just want to point out that the guy wearing the black jacket who pushed over the bucket where the preacher (who is Joe Kirby) was standing on wasn't actually too bad. The preacher talked to the guy afterwards and the guy admitted that he was having a horrible day arguing with his girlfriend at the mall and he senselessly let out his anger on somebody who he saw was vulnerable, the guy and the preacher had a very enlightening conversation and the guy ended up taking a John's gospel with him back home.

I get the motive behind this, and I wish abiding by gods will was easier, but I can’t get myself to not hate. I have spent years being a doormat for people and letting them walk all over me. The anger and hate has built up so much and nothing will alleviate it. This sounds nice, but I can’t make it happen.

Just want to point out that the guy wearing the black jacket who pushed over the bucket where the preacher (who is Joe Kirby) was standing on wasn't actually too bad. The preacher talked to the guy afterwards and the guy admitted that he was having a horrible day arguing with his girlfriend at the mall and he senselessly let out his anger on somebody who he saw was vulnerable, the guy and the preacher had a very enlightening conversation and the guy ended up taking a John's gospel with him back home.
