Norman, an iconic reference!!!❤
Absolutely exquisite!!! Particularly: tremens factus sum ego- I could hear the panic, fear and tremble in her voice.. as if it truly was the day of judgement!! Brava Madam Jessye, BRAVAAAAAA!!!!!
I still cannot believe that she is gone. Incredible voice capable of limitless power and infinite tenderness. R.I.P. ❤️
That high C at the end is absolutely bone-chilling. So beautiful. Rest In Peace. Vita brevis, ars longa ❤️🌹
This version is straight up ICONIC! 🤩🤩🤩 I'm ruined for the others now! Ms. Norman's voice, a force of nature! BRAVISSIMA! 👏👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
I would have loved to hear the entire requiem......Thank you and Thank you
magnifique!!!
Her high notes are not so bright, The C is a bit shy, but who cares? She is a dramatic soprano with huge musicality, phrasing and big voice. I miss her so much
12:10
Beautiful, But strangely, she does a high B flat at the end of the Libera me, instead of high B...And I hear a high C#, instead of a C at 12.13! On the score, it is written B natural and C natural.

The b-flat at the end of Libera me is correct, and so is the C at 12:13.
