I appreciate this video especially since English isn't your first language. Thanks for your effort. But the background music is inappropriate and distracting. Better background music would be a selection of spirituals and lieder.

@@musicformonsters I feel a bit awkward adding emotions in my poor English which is as far from being my native languauge as it seems to be for the "speaker", but I simply couldn't just passing by. The tuber is awful, but Jessye would have only smiled at this, I'm sure.

I feel honored to have attended the same university music programs as did she: Howard, and University of Michigan.

So regal, so beautiful.

She is a true example of faith and strength. It gives me hope that my race has not been forgotten. Her Majesty shines through her amazing voice.

I see this video as a disrespectful attempt at getting attention from the millions partaking in the joy and sadness around this exceptional Diva. The very, very least the producer of this video could have done is use music worthy of serving as background.

This video was done by an idiot who no respect or appreciation for someone who has given her best to do what she loved and brought joy to those who loved her and what. Did. Hotep my sister.

The video is much, much better with the sound turned completely off.

I was interested in this clip but just couldn’t get passed your back ground music, it’s in poor taste.

Does anyone know how Ms. Norman injured her spine making it necessary for her to have to use a wheel chair? There seems to be no news as to how she acquired such grievous injury; which complications of that injury led to her passing.
