He didn't actually DO anything, or say anything to the person he should've, which is the rapist, if you read about the other women...Jessie is "lucky," and I put that in quotations because no one who goes through this is, but he is a full on rapist, and in that sense, that it wasn't any worse, she is. God is good & he knows your heart. This sounds like a test - a test of your faith & moral, a test of your inner ability to hold your own. The music Industry is tough & destructive...it can suck you in and spit you back out. It can be ugly behind the glamour. That man wouldn't have helped you even if you did sleep wit him. He would've never seen you again after that night. This was a test that you passed. You saw through the bullshit and stuck to your beliefs, as scary as that had to of been, I think any normal young naive girl in your situation would have thought about it- but im sure you also thought about other ways to get your foot in the door & in the end you stuck to your guns girl! All events happen for a reason, its because you passed that test of inner faith you were given a different opportunity. Had you of acted on his demands that night doors wouldn't have opened for you. Thats something to be proud of & look now...your music is thriving!!!
