​@@V0r4xiz actually, she wasn't the best in terms of voice technique \ vocal range compared to "random Chinese auditioners", so put off your entitlement and stop circlejerking. By the way, most of these "random Chiense auditioners" are renowed singers and song writers as well. If you don't know them, it doesn't mean that they're nonames, because e.g. I didn't know shit about Jessie J as I don't listen to pop music much, but that doesn't mean that she is a noname, does it ? Besides, "having multiple hits" != being the best singer, especially when it comes to pop music, because lots of pop stars actually sound shit live and focus more on the show aspect, so yeah, I feel like many of the renowned pop stars would blow in these types of competitions if it came to judging their actually vocal skills.

Amazing! Watching in China!

If singers like G.E.M or even Jane Zhang sang this song they would've probably scored well as well. But through out the whole seasons when people like Shila and the other 2 girls who were suppose to be the ones who has the powerful voice and such was not even close to being truly powerful as Jessie is. She makes it look so effortless and her singing is so natural and in a way, carefree. I've followed the show since season 1, and I cannot recall someone singing as effortlessly as she does, at least in the similar genre. This was almost like freestyling, she didn't sing every single lyrics, her pauses and singing are sometimes a little offbeat but somehow it didn't feel like flaw at all. We know she's such a huge international singer, but not until now comparing them side by side do I notice the huge difference. I don't think they can find another loud and powerful female singer this season to compete with her, certainly not in pop. I've always been rather annoyed that the singers who sings upbeat songs with high notes and powerful voice always get the votes, regardless how well the others have done in their respective songs. But not this time, Jessie J truly deserve the ranking. I think it would be interesting to find a great Chinese folk singer this season to compete with her instead.

Jessie is a light lyric soprano with bad technique, her high notes are flat,squeezed, thin, and unsupported. Her voice isn't powerful being the vocal fach she is.

ShanNicholas I did and I actually understand Chinese, not very fluent with speaking, besides I don't even know how to type in Chinese. I really miss the comment section after each performances by those musicians or songwriters, especially the guy with goatee and the lady with that Dora the explorer hair cut.

holohulolo if you watch the whole episodes on HUNAN TV KZread channel they have English subtitles. You can just skip to Jessie’s part if you don’t want to watch the whole show. Also when they upload a new episode after it airs it takes them few hours to add the subtitles so if you’re too early like me you’ll have to wait 🙂
