Oh my goodness! A sports journalist who actually asks deep compelling questions without sounding precious. Anastasia is the first sports interviewer I’ve heard where the interviewer listens, asks good questions, and keeps it fun. And of course Jessie is the perfect player to interview because she herself is deep and a very talented leader. Go Canada!🇨🇦

A big part of developing a soccer culture in Canada is for Canadians to have greater opportunities to view National Team games and professional women’s and men’s soccer leagues. I think CBC could play a big role in that. As it stands now, if I want to see the women’s or men’s teams play, I’ve got to pay for an extra streaming service, I’ve got to seek it out. I am happy to pay for Gem, and watch CBC TV, anyway, but they are our national teams and CBC could give them a higher profile from sea to sea to sea.

Recently most women's national team games are like that too in Sweden.(You'd not think it would be so especially after the world cup and how far women's football have come in Sweden) It's so sad cause it's not like that with the men's team and the women are doing much better than them anyways, are more succesful. But yeah big games USUALLY works to watch tho

Thorns fan here that lives here too and I love that there's a bunch of Canadians within the club's players and back office! Bring back Adriana Leon too! (and as a bonus, I'd LOVE to have Quinn move from Seattle to Portland)
