Jessica is SNSD color. She will lead most of the chorus (especially the boys album) and if she's not leading them, she will be in charge of the harmonization with Seohyun. When she left, SNSD stopped singing the chorus in 'unison' and you can easily pinpoint the change in the color. Its actually much more noticeable in the ballad.

The saddest thing about jessica leaving the group is how sm and other members pretend like she never exist in the first place. Like she didnt start from zero and build it big together and struggle with them. It sucks to see that they are trying to erase a big part of snsd history just like that.

we don't know if that's what's happening, many people theorize that SM is the one making them not talk about Jessica because there are many times where the members talk about Jessica on a talk shows unrelated to SM, like how sunny counted Jessica when talking about their names, or when Tiffany included Jessica when talking about their birthday's in an American interview, and many more cases

Just imagine the members of SNSD are the colors of the rainbow. Jessica left the group and so the rainbow is not perfect. It is just like that. SNSD is not perfect if there's one that leaves.

Considering just HOW MUCH she has contributed to SNSD sound ( and look) it is so sad that she was thrown out like garbage by the company, the fans and the members. She spent so many years working hard and she was the one who wished for a beautiful ending and yet look at how SNSD ended as a group...really sad

Yeah, as far as I know she originally wanted to leave after Party/Lion Heart/You Think era in their hiatus as a group. And she wanted a smooth leaving but yeah everyone knows how it ended. And I think both sides were invovled in the way how it ended. Sad but we can't change it :D

She was always a main vocalist and this shows it. Her vocals massively dominated most SNSD songs. Her lowest number was for Oh and that's just because there were very few 'power' moments in it. It wasn't particularly made for a vocal line like Tae, Jess and Seo.

She did a lot for "Oh" actually. However, what was shown in this video are only her official lines. But in terms of harmonies and vocal layering, she dominated that in "Oh" along with Taeyeon, as always.

Her lines always the most memorable and iconic one. Maybe it's her voice and vibes.

I think she/he made the right decision to not include CMIYC because they didn't finish shooting that with Jessica so her part were probably trimmed off and gave it to the others, you can see it somewhere here in YT the compare and contrast of CMIYC ot8 and ot9

Jessica and taeyeon harmony in girls generation song is really amazing

I’m 17 and I started becoming a sone when I was 6 so it’s been 9 years since then. Girls generation were the first artists that I stanned. In 2014 when Jessica left I always had high hopes everytime they had a live performance without her she’d pop out and surprise us but she never did and I always denied that she left the group. And for a long time I waited for her to come back to us. I didn’t want her to leave. I sort of moved on and accepted her removal even if it took a couple months. But looking back sometimes and watching this video even if snsd is doing their own thing. I really miss her being with the other girls. She’s the spice of snsd that we all need and she is definitely iconic.

People said that Jessica got 1st or 2nd for lines distribution since 2007 until 2012 (before TTS debuted) along with Taeyeon because THEY TWO are MAIN VOCAL while Seohyun, Tiffany and Sunny is just Lead Vocal. But, since TTS debuted, Jessica rare got 1st/2nd line distribution anymore. Example, their first comeback after TTS debuted was IGAB in January 2013, Jessica was 4th for line distribution. Since that day, Seohyun and Tiffany, espesially Tiffany get more line and Jessica's line become down. SO, IT'S NOT ABOUT JESSICA'S LINE UPPER SINCE 2007.

well since tts there's paparazzi, flower power, i got a boy and mr. mr. she got #1 in three out of these so i don't really know what are you talking about... if you mean b-sides included, then we're talking cause of course i also do think she deserved more #1 in songs from mr. mr. mini and i got a boy too (but for igab album she got express 999 and talk, those are my favorites so i'm okay with it). by the way i'm a sica-only fan. i know it probably shoud be 50/50 between her and taeyeon, but she's #1 in most of my favorite songs (genie, the boys, karma butterfly, the great escape, etc.)

I like Jessica ever since I became a fan of GG but after her forceful departure I stop supporting the group, not because I hate them but I just can't. Seeing Jessica looking so lost and lonely during 2014-2015 is so damn painful bc she's my favorite artist (in KPOP). Although it's been years and I already accepted what happened I still can't figure out why the OT8 can't talk about what really happened. (Is it bc SM is stopping them? Or are they guilty over something? Idk.) But because of that, I can't support them. I mean, other idols, f(x) for example, they smoothly answered questions regarding Sulli's departure to the group when they have a presscon to their concert. And I don't know why, OT8 can't do the same. In that matter, I believe Jessica's words because she bravely announced that the girls are behind her being kicked out. And if Jessica is lying, why SM and the girls didn't even deny such things? Instead, they remained silent. I meam, if they didn't do such thing why would they stay silent.

SM did release a statement though, but if you go look for it please make sure you get the official one because there is one that was being spread that was edited to make the 8 girls look bad. Anyways, f(x) situation is different because Sulli didn't have a problem with her fellow member of the company, but we know for a fact Jessica had beef with either one or both. And we know Jessica has beef with SM because SM banned her from appearing on music shows, Jessica has even said before that she wants to go on them but she can't. Also, this is just a theory but I DO think SM doesn't let the girls talk about Jessica, because we can see many times they slip up and say 9, or in interviews or shows unrelated to SM they sometimes mention Jessica indirectly. Like when Sunny counted Jessica when talking about their names, or when Tiffany brought up Jessica's birthday during an interview not to mention the amount of times almost all of them have liked posts that have Jessica in it, especially yuri, she was caught viewing and Jessica fan page story, and on her YT channel she hearts many comments that talk about Jessica or the time when Hyoyeon like aa photo on Instagram that only had Jessica and one other person in it, and just so many more cases like that. And I think that if they just straight up say Jessica's name or talk about her they would get in huge trouble. Another theory is that SM kicked out Jessica but framed the other girls so that Jessica wouldn't take legal action against SM. I think we probably won't ever get the full truth as to why Jessica is no longer in the group, and you can believe what you want but I think that there are many more possibilities as to why she is no longer with them, and we shouldn't be taking sides and consider and recognize the possibilities
