@@mbismbismb it is important. Jessica, Hyoyeon and Sooyoung were friends for 14 YEARS, almost half of their childhood. Their bond were like sisters, they went through everything together.

SNSD will always be 9. I started to stan them when it was 2007 with 9 members, I will still hope for 9 members to reunite! ONE DAY!

Krystal's letter to Jessica will always be the most heartbreaking thing to me. Even to this day it still makes me cry or at the very least, tear up

it's tearing my heart when Jessica said on minute 3.10 and what yuri said in minute 3.18 . it's really sad. till now, i seriously hope they are still friends.i'm especially hoping tiffany, seohyun, yoona, yuri and sunny who seems so close with jessica before she leaves can hang out together as they get higher chance. (like tiffany who pursuit singing career in oversea) .Praying their bond still strong.

jessica might look her happiest and better than ever now, but tbh she had it the worst. she was the most affected by what happened and even up to now, she's suffering the consequences of letting her fans know what really happened. she can't have anything to do with a legacy she took part in building, she receives more hate than love in her own motherland. i know the other girls were also hurt, but none can compare to what jessica went and is going through.

@@ramonhariyanto3731 a lot can change in a couple of years, especially when money, fame, arguments and constantly being your same bandmates constantly rehearsing and living with you can cause you to have resentment. Also if their parents truly were involved in talking in their ear and trying to convince them to oust her because of x , y and z, that could warp someone's perception of another person over time. Maybe they regret how they acted after that. I mean, if Beyonce and Kelly can be friends with Latavia and Letoya after DC ousted them, anything's possible.

I am a SONE since 2010, and I've read theory after theory as to how and why Jessica was kicked out of SNSD. I remember when the event happened. I was a college student and I was about to go to sleep when I checked my phone and just happened to hear the first report from Jessica's Weibo. I couldn't sleep that night as I was waiting for SM's confirmation statement. When morning finally broke, I read the statement and it tore me. I was depressed for a good week. To me, it was the worst of the many horrible things that happened in 2014 (except for the Ladies' Code tragedy). After looking at the confirmed events that happened as reported by the news (including deleted stuff), as well as my knowledge of the SNSD friendship, I feel like SNSD did in fact have an involvement in removing Jessica from the group. HOWEVER...I can't help but feel like it was a big misunderstanding. I somehow feel rumors were spread or they were concerned about Jessica for false reasons (e.g., juggling her brand and the group in the forseeable future, her relationship with Tyler, etc.), and this in turn led to the ultimate decision by SM to remove Jessica from the group. Because it happened so suddenly, and because of the response from both Jessica and OT8, I feel like they were second guessing themselves, but ultimately didn't get to Jessica in time. So, why did they pretend to act like she wasn't there in the first place? Easy. If word like this were to break out, SNSD would be known as the "2nd T-ara." So, a story was fabricated by SM based on how much the public knew at the time, and in turn helped SNSD recover and prevent what would've been a horrible downfall. The last thing SNSD wanted to happen to them was to lose all chances of a future career. I feel like this would explain why SNSD didn't "fight SM" for Jessica, as some people wonder. As the saying goes, it wasn't personal. It was just business. Was it right? No. But things could've ended up much worse than it would have. Now, flashforward to 2017, where SooTiSeo left SM. All sides said that they're still in SNSD. Why do they not contact Jessica publicly? That's the reason, as well. Business and job security. Lose the name, and their brand value goes down. Also, as we all know, SM was purposefully sabatoging their album promotions and even album production to force them to re-sign. If they don't, then they were gonna do the same to them they did Jessica: spread false rumors to protect the other five. And SNSD did NOT want to through that moment again. However, I feel as they were going their own way, doing everything alone, they probably said, "Wow. So this is what it feels like." I feel like in that moment, the three fully realized what could've been had the action not been taken. With that being said, though, I believe there is hope for OT9. The time when Jessica's contract with SM would've been over has now passed, and she did say that she's having meetings with TV and media companies for possible appearances. I believe she got banned from TV by SM due to a hidden "do not compete" clause, meaning she could not appear on so many shows or so big of a program. As she was about to appear on Radio Star, SM saw this as a threat, both to them and SNSD, and quickly took action. Think about the other three, though before making judgements. How many non-drama programs have SooTiSeo appeared in? Very little. Again, although they're still in SNSD, they're no longer in SM, and therefore, can't compete with their other artists. I'm hoping that since the original contract as ended as of over a year ago, Jessica can make minor appearances on some TV shows. Maybe some CJ ENM ones, since SM is having beef with them? 😂😂😂 Also, if you've watched any TV programs that showed SNSD in the past year, quite a few of them have shown them as the nine-member group they once was. So, I feel like that grip has been loosened and the networks are finally feeling okay showing that SNSD was a nine member group, especially since the group is pretty much even with Jessic, as said before. With that in mind, I have some hope for the future. Jessica is rumored to be releasing her first full album soon, and we shall see if the ban has been lifted. Also, since it's been five years, and SNSD are seeing Jessica back on TV, odds are when in fact they do get back together for a new album, they'll most likely be asked that question. I hope that given the fact that an SNSD comeback is now gonna be a thing they do for fun and not strictly for profit, and since they're not a huge priority for SM anymore (they represented only 2% of SM'S income last year), the truth will finally come out, at least partially. Or at least SNSD will in fact acknowledge that Jessica was in fact a part of the group. I truly believe that they still keep in contact with each other in private and their bond is real, even if they don't show it publicly. Bonds of 14 years don't crumble that easily. They truly want to keep SNSD alive in any way, and as full as possible after that tragic incident. If the time comes that they can slowly start to talk about Jessica without a lot of persecution, I believe they will because if their live for each other. They suffered together where girl groups weren't big at all. They were the ones that made girl groups as big as they are today. It seems all the groups that suffered the most always had/has the closest bonds. And boy did SNSD suffer during their start and throughout their career. Don't ever forget that. And finally, if Yuri's liking of a comment on OT9 and Sooyoung's acknowledgement of them debuting as 9 on Dingo over the past year (and where they're in different agencies) is any indication, I believe the talk will start sooner than we think. Now, keep in mind, these are just my opinions based on the facts I have gathered. No need to take them seriously. Nonetheless, if you miss OT9 as much as I do, let me know!

Sorry man I could not agree with you but also want to share you some information and of course would want to know your opinion for this news. 1. Jess renewed her contract with Sm like the others till 2017, so why would Sm want to renew if both of them could not agree with certain conditions? 2. Throughout the years, from what I saw Jess still involved in entertainment industry and did not go for further study or marrying Tyler Kwon (well you can said she change the plan after that incident) 3. Jess and Krys are having a come back as Duo according to the producer of Jessica and Krystal show, so why Sm would agree for that if Sm has problem with her design career? These things bother me a lot and I just couldn’t believe Sm did the dirty stuff instead the members did and regarding to the interviews, the members can negotiate a lot with Sm with Tiffany as their representative

No one can or should say OT9 bond is fake. It wasn't fake. There are just some things that grow apart as the years go by. Some friends you won't be with after some years but it doesn't mean that the bond was fake. They just grew apart. Like how we are not even talking to some of our elementary or highschool or college friends.

you don't live sleep pass the most of the time with your elementary ,highschool or college friends, all korean groups (male or female) live together for the longest, you can't compare the bond of a 10 years group(or band) to a simple ppl you meet only at a class you study with for max 3 years

I feel like Jessica was always very mature and considerate growing up... I wished the people around her took more time to understand her. Perhaps then the separation might not have happened. However, I think she is doing well and successful as a creative director. I guess things were meant to change for a reason. I will always be rooting for you Jess!

Jessica herself said it. 2. Give me proof that Jessica was neglecting SNSD activities. She was very dedicated and did not miss any schedule in 2014. Not even rehearsals. You are only talking based on hearsay. 3. She was not lazy. Yes she didn't run or dance hard, but she gave her best to give great performances. Which is why, to this day, she's considered to be one of the best performers of the group. She's an all arounder who just have a problem with stamina (health related issue). You are basing your opinions on the hatred you feel for her (you must be an OT8 fan) and rumours. She did not deserve to be kicked out like that. SNSD made a bad and emotional decision. I don't hate them for that, but I felt bad for Jessica at the time. But not anymore cuz she's thriving and it's finally happy 🤗

only 9 of them knew how hurts that feeling is. I dont think other member want to be seperated like that since their grow up together. I bet their didt show anything reaction to protect their beloved. After all SM never controls Chinese media, so the fact she appears in the news/media over there is not exactly a "change" anyone is excited about (sure encouraging to her fans since they haven't seen her for a long time). I mean a former popular Korean idol is performing in China of course it should automatically create a certain amount of attention, nothing special about that. Look at T-ara, their popularity declined severely in Korea yet they still received so much love from C-netizens between 2012-2016.

Tbh when 9/30 happened I was really disappointed like I blamed the other members about what happened to jessica, tiffany was my bias then but I felt like the others gang up versus jessica. After that I decided to stop supporting snsd but I know in my heart that I still genuinely love all of them. Years passed, I started watching their videos once again and realised I never stopped loving and supporting them, it was just a phase for me because I was hurt by the fact that it was no longer ot9. Now hard as it can be that it’s not the same as before, i will forever stan snsd. Will forever support jessica and ot8 cause forever in my heart it’s sonyushidae. #GG4eva

I laugh at ppl saying sunny was the only one who wanted her to stay, Sunny was prolly the most disappointed in Jessica for throwing the girls under the bus, which was likely while she posted that caption about a diamonds and protecting ot8 at all costs on IG back in 2015

I will always be their fans forever.. Watching this again and again really make my heart hurt.. Jessica will always have a part in my heart.. Just like the other SNSD.. Forever 9.. And i hope their struggle will make them grew stronger.. I love u guys.. I miss u so much.. I wont remember the bad times.. I only remember the goods time with them

I have a request! Can Jessica, SNSD, SM put everything aside and do a last performance together. because I believe the fans deserve it before SNSD officially disband. The performance should be at the biggest award show in Korea. Do it as the last performance and no one should know about it beforehand. A surprise show for everyone. Hoping for this 9 members reunite and heal all the pains created in the past. Praying for yhat moment to happen and all sones we'll be delighted.

Losing even just 1 friend feels so terrible. Imagine going from sharing all of your stories with one person one day to becoming just acquaintances. I’ve lost one best friend like that. I can’t imagine losing 8. It must hurt so terribly.

I hope all the 9 girls still contact each other off cam. Otherwise, it will be really hurt for Jessica to lost big part of her life.

I honestly dislike how they can’t say 9 because of SM. It makes me upset because they basically have to act as if Sica was never in the group when they and us all know she was. 😢

SM Entertainment should stop forbidding their artistes to openly talk about Jessica Jung. Whatever contract obligations they had with Jessica were the past. Just irks me the way they behave as though they are the head of monarch of the entertainment / media industry. They have clearly forgotten that they actually rely on the general public's viewership and fans' support to keep going in the industry. Just milking their artistes from some petty endorsement commissions do not last long. I hope their management can exercise a reasonable bit of common sense that we are their bosses. We decide if we buy or break their ideas. Keeping their artistes' mouths shut aint way to go. We all have heard and seen how the group started from scratch, it was 9 members, and 8 now, but we all remembered there were 9.

She should also stop smearing their images through her sensationalist books,why smear the group brand and legacy you were part of that brought you fame AND recognition for public attention and bank on the drama? SNSD has no problem mention her,SM has no problem letting their own idols wear her brands, She got to host beauty show on SBS a year after being kicked out and alledgedy "banned" from the industry but the one who doesn't want to see her are the REAL knetz,Soo mentioned ot9 in 2021 on yoo quiz yet the production team cropped out her face, same with soshitamtam JTBC cropped her images out ,SNSD and Jessica are Public images they need to learn to respect each other public image and privacy which is what the others have done all this while ppl saying that they want to here their side but they kept shut? Maybe to their side would paint her in a more bad light? So they respectfully keep quiet and continue to let ot9 fans dream of some reunion someday or have neutral assumptions to her leaving or being kicked out, She should have either seek proper justice if she was injured or harmed in anyway back then, instead of being cryptic about it, the girls have been slandered to oblivion based on speculations that COULD BE fictional, Especially Taeyeon and Yoona who are the most popular members, Now tell me do you think the Korean media would give her an audience for this?

@@habshi0974 Jessica's book really discredited SM, why not sue her? Jessica will become popular not only because she is a member of Girls' Generation, she works harder than anyone else, and her blonde beauty is her symbol.

Fack SM😭😭😭🤧🤧🤧 my heart will always be 9!!! No matter what!!! I was 7 years old since they debuted and I found about them and now I’m 19 and I will always be with every single girl and support them no matter what happened!!!

I already knew that I'm going to cry if I watch this, bit I still did. No matter what happens, I still believe in them. I hope one day, I wake up and open my phone, and suddenly see an article where they went altogether , all 9 of them, in a certain place, celebrating one of their member's birthday.

The sad things is I hope Jessica and SM just can hold until their Tokyo dome concert, That concert is to announce Jessica will be hiatus from Soshi, And if that happen, I believe Jessica is still with Soshi until now..... As 13 years Sone, this is so sad and feel strange...

Everything was almost okay until ITNW, I cried like always and I'm not even a sone, just a fan but I miss OT9

Sunny seems to be the one that really cares for the members.

I will always miss seeing Jessica with the rest of the girls, and even though she is no longer an official member of SNSD, I'll always think of her as being a part of Soshi. I'm really proud of how far both parties have gone since her removal from the group - she could've been ruined as a solo artist and designer, and SNSD could've been ruined as a group, but surprisingly everyone seems to be doing alright. I don't think Jessica will ever return to be a part of SNSD, especially after how heartbreaking 2014 was for her, and I don't think we'll ever see them on a stage together as 9 again. But I really hope we'll eventually see the nine of them hanging out, maybe come back together for birthdays, renew their personal relationships if not their professional one. Regardless of what really happened in 2014, it doesn't change the fact that these girls were basically a family for 10 years at that point. *Something* from that must still remain, and maybe one day they'll feel comfortable enough to share it with the fans without too much of a tizzy being caused.

These 9 girls experienced mistreatment as trainees, rookies and even as the biggest girl group in Korea. I can't stand how people villainize Jessica or ot8, because at the end of the day they weren't the ones who called she shots. SM entertainment is the real villain. Certain Super Junior members are hella problematic, but you don't see them being forced out. Jessica was literally as unproblematic as Seohyun. The only thing people held against her was her ice princess image, and yet netizens decided to jump on the hate train. SM kicked her in the most unprofessional way, and it annoys me how no one ever comments on how childish and petty it was of SM to force her out just as they're about to go on their concert The Best Tokyo Dome. It's so obvious that this wasn't a secret plot by the other members, but rather the actions of an angry middle aged man with a superiority complex. Edit: correction. I wrote Phantasia but I meant The Best TD.

why cant i see any photos of them meeting at a resto or something. there are members that are out of sm already. u know.. like 2ne1.. their sisterhood is also so tight. i wanna see a member from snsd do the same for sica. 😔

My heart still hopes they're going to reconcile and talk it through- Like I've been waiting for an update ever since the event happened. They were my first bias when I was 13, I literally had no favourites between them bc I sincerely see & love them equally- They had a lot of love for each other, if in any way they could reach out to each other and have a seat to talk about it then I think it would- at least lessen whatever pain or guilt they have if they're unable to restart their friendship.

Given how much time has passed since 9/30 with nary a word on the subject from any of the other members, I think the most we can hope for is maybe a public interview way down the road when SNSD has officially disbanded (or at least no longer with SM). With SM still having a gag order on the whole ordeal, I feel that’s what will have to happen before there’s even a possibility of learning the reasons what really happened that day.

they really are the only girl group (other than ioi in my opinion) that really SHARED ONE CHEMISTRY TOGETHER. unlike girlgroups nowadays, they all look separated or dull.

Leaving your comfort zone is part of growing up. You gotta take the risks and stand against the adversities to achieve the things you really love. No matter how hard and how painful it is, it will pass as time goes by. Tho, it's inevitable to miss the people you grow up with. Keep going, for sure you will meet them at the top.

Until this day, people love to say that only SNSD, SM and Jessica know the truth about what happened but completely threw to the side Jessica's statement on that cruelsome day.

The fact that she stood on her own against a powerful company just to preventa them from lying to the fans and still stand her ground for almost 9 years should be enough to tell you she wasn't afraid, and was confident enough that SM couldn't even sue her after 9/30 nor had receipts against her. Only insiders' claims that have been proven to be false.

I feel deeply for all the girls, they have been through so much, they are all very special ladies, but I do think Jessica is an exceptional lady, and she is kind of a pioneer, she has a very intuitive mind, can see things coming and is almost a visionary, but they have shared something very special few get the chance too, and it is this that will always keep them linked forever, I hope one day they may possibly re-unite as a group, I think I am not alone in this, we live in hope, "their is a song their Jessica"

Jessica was voted out without her knowledge. This isn't fair. These girls are not innocent and when they succeed they have to pretend to be victims so people don't blame them. These people have done cruel things and do not deserve sympathy. SM is ultimately just a choice

SNSD was never as good without Jessica.

2:37 maybe this is the reason why during their meeting pre 0930 nobody tells what side Sunny was standing for or what Sunny told during the meeting when the two maknaes were extremely against it, I think Sunny was speechless and can't believe that others would be like that for other members because she for herself tries to understand each of the nine members (specially Sica)😢 the situation might have been unbelievable for her 💔 we know her she's all sunny and talkative in front of the camera but behind she's silent and serious 💔

It was Sunny, Hyoyeon and Tiffany actually who didn't take a side. Then Yoona and Seohyun takes Jessica's side. But rumors said that in the 2nd round of voting, Tiffany and Yoona changed their minds and eventually want Jessica to be out of the group.

Those people that are saying that most of SNSD members voted for Jessica to leave are just plain stupid and they just lack EQ. You can't cut out 14 years of bond with envy. I don't know how you believe those kinds of news. I'm not saying that they are true nor false but what i'm saying is that there are always three sides of the story. Jessica's side, the company's side and the truth. But for in this case there are 4, we also have to consider the group's side. You should never be contented with one spokesperson's words without hearing all of the sides. You can't just be on someones side without hearing the others. That's just plain biased. Also you can't just say 'i think she voted as well' or 'its only her that didn't vote' or something like that because you weren't there in the first place.
