This is so dumb and reeks of western chauvinism. She doesn't appeal to korean beauty and instead appeals to western beauty so it's a good thing? It's fine if you said something against beauty standards in general but saying western ones are ok while the others aren't is just wrong.

My point is, do u even know how many idols starving themselves, eating ice cubes just to maintain their bodies? Do u know how many of them suffers from eating disorder?. Do u know that even mina who is super white is still jealous of dahyun's complexion because that is the standards of Korean beauty? They white wash their photos only because they didn't fit the Korean beauty standards. Colorism is even a joke there. That's why I adore Hwasa and Jessi. Because they don't give a fck about what knetz would say because of their appearance.

But my point was to say that western beauty standards while not as bad are also some really bad. The way you phrased it 100% made it sound like you were saying it's better to "westernised her face", like saying westernizing is better. They're both bad.(obviously not all beauty standards are bad, just the bad ones like underweight and skin colour, and a few others)

I was just saying that IT'S WESTERN completely opposite from Korean. She's not afraid to act and appear to be opposite from Korean beauty standards. That's why I'm proud of her for doing so.
