_This is the best interview I have watched in recent memory! Jesse is the kind of man our forefathers would have been proud of. His sense of honor and convictions are almost palpable. His values mirror mine and this is why he is extremely relatable on a personal level. Jesse Ventura would be a fine President although I would not wish that unfathomable burden upon him._

In fact, Muslim's don't think much of non-believers, ie, infidels and that would most certainly include Jesse. Look at Justice Douglas' concurring opinion in Cassius Clay v US on Ali's religious objection reason for not wanting to going to combat for the US.

I was an army ranger when they took our black beret and gave us a tan one. Jesse Ventura did express his opinion on the Army Ranger's black beret being taken away and given to the regular army. He stated, "So you know, US Army Rangers, for years, had a black beret. They stole it away from them and gave them a tan beret. And to me, that's an atrocity because the black beret should be worn only by the US Army Rangers. They had it back before World War II, and they're the ones that earned the right to wear it."

Served 93-98. Was Airborne. Was part of a panel that decided on the change of Berets. I was just a E4. I really had no say. All of the changes was because of everyone except Infantry. When I was in an Ordnance unit we had no way of distinguishing ourselves from others. Our commander authorized the ordnance cord from the 70s. Every branch had a shoulder cord in the 70s you knew of someone was a MP or Air artillery etc. Joes were busted wearing medals and wearing Enlisted bus driver caps that were no longer used or authorized. It was a huge problem it drew attention at the time. A lot of cry babies said it was not fair. That’s why they changed the berets. I had 2 Ranger friends get out over it. I voted against it. No one thought it was fair for Blue cords only. I told the panel changing beret colors was not good. Was told I know nothing..

That's the kind of shit that nobody who has ever been in the military or at least had grown up around veterans wouldn't understand. That is why you hear these people who never served have this "What's the big deal?!" kind of attitude towards stolen valor. They just can't comprehend what it is like to earn your jump wings or earn that infantry chord or your Ranger tab or that anchor and globe etc. To them it is just some logo like the McDonalds M or the Pepsi symbol. They don't know what it is like to march the crucible. They don't know what it is really like from first hand experience to survive BUDS or RIP. And they sure as shit don't know what it is like to be in combat or see your friends wounded and killed in combat.

Since then I've met and worked with Mr. Ventura on two separate occasions. He is a man of honor and integrity and is everything he exemplifies in his interviews. When you can have a casual and honest conversation- even in passing- with someone you relate with, you can shake a man's hand and look one another in the eye and know exactly who you are dealing with. I pray that we can all take something from Mr. Ventura out into this world today and do what is right to restore the once sacred ideals of the American spirit for our children and a hopeful future.

America is run by and for oligarchs - if you are a man of the common people as Jesse is, you'll get squashed and rubbed out as JFK was in 1963. Almost ALL US presidents since LBJ have been not much more than PR men for the real powers behind US politics - they run the country - not these puppet Presidents like Biden and Trump.

The fact Chris Kyles story included Jesse openly telling people something like he was "glad that Navy men died and they deserve it" just tells me that Chris Kyle was lying about the whole thing. Jesse has said some wild stuff in his time, but cmon. Why would he say his fellow Navymen deserve that?? Makes zero sense. Gotta be lies.

Hearing Jesse Ventura talk about how much he loves his wife and how much he lit up talking about her was really touching. He is so committed to his lady. Then for him to start steering off topic towards being paranoid of drones striking him is so Jesse Ventura. Just a roller coaster of a man.

He had every right to be afraid of drones. You’re not aware of Obama and Hillary literally watching drone pilots kill civilians in the Middle East. A group of people were standing around socializing. They were after one or two of them but essentially took out a group of twelve or fifteen. Children and fathers. We’re a long way from that back in 2010. A long way. Technology has exploded, trust me.

Devotion to a partner is rare. Devotion in Hollywood is usually to money and fame only. It's easy to dedicate and love in my broke to middle-class experience. Jesse is manhood goals, and his wife is an aspiration for all women who want to be loved and valued.

Jessie this is the first time I heard the story of your acceptance speech. It made me emotional to hear it also. It says a lot how a person or in this case people (both you and Ali) can cause a spark that can change the course of history. I'd just like to say thank you Jessie for your service. I never served even though I was sentenced to the Army I was shot at my going away party. But I am forever humbled by those of you who have and do. I've always liked you and have been interested in your life, however today you inspired me to continue at a time I've lost much hope. We often learn by emulating and sometimes when we're out of ammo and lost, all we needed was enough motivation to believe that maybe I too if I don't give up can not nessassarily shock the world, but can make a difference if I persevere. God Bless you Jessie Ventura your a good person and even better role model.

The best interview with The body Jesse. I worked out at his gym for three years I always liked him he was always a interesting guy to workout around Good humor and respectful. John Stud was also a super nice guy. Jesse encouraged me to compete in my first bodybuilding competition in 1980 . And today I’m still training at 63 years of age.

That's crazy, I competed in my first competition, the 1980 minnesota bodybuilding Championships. We likely crossed paths. Never knew jesse (Jim Janos) personally, but ran into him, wife and firstborn son once. Plus he held lots of lifting records at the same Jr. College I attended.

35:05- "if you'll die for someone you'll lie for them" That breaks his own argument! As a navy vet myself, my HONOR dictated that I die for someone if need be. That same HONOR kept me from lying for them. Jesse essentially says he would lie for those he would die for. And that if you lie you have no honor. Jesse lost his honor with that series of statments... he's telling us without telling us that if it was one of his guys saying they punched Chris Kyle, Jesse would lie for his buddy, too!
