Two true legends Jesse Valdez & Gypsy Rose. I was in L.A. back in 1974 i was like 16yrs old and saw the Imperials at a Safeway parking lot about a half dozen members showed up and when they laid their cars they didn't slam them.they laid them nice and slow with class, and we went to a small party of theirs. what a honor to be able to hang out with one of most legendary respected car clubs in the world at a very young age right when lowridering was starting.from honorary member Carnales Unidos

@ mrbiddadyjoe79, I'm sorry about Jesse, I was in the club from 1969-1973, I hung out with Art Valadez,(Peaches & Cream) '64, Impala, Leo Cervantes, '64 Blue impala, Jesse "Holmes" 66 Impala. Mine was a rootbeer brown, 64 impala SS. Little Bobby 62 Impala, Ask your uncles about La Habra and the "Sweet Inspirations Girl Club", night. our 6th street Mafia when little Ruben was the president. The Valadez' were stand up guys even then. which takes me back to the best yrs. of my life. Thanx Jesse!

Rest in peace sir. I remember the early 70s, seeing the Gypsy Rose in all its splendor in the opening of Chico and the Man... So far ahead of her time... and Jesse was a great family man. I grew up in Wilmington, then Pico Rivera, Montebello, Whittier, Monterey Park East Los. I'm an engineering tech for a major software R&D company. One of my boyhood heroes was Jesse. Thank you for showing us the way Don Jesse!
