He's the heir apparent to Philip Seymour Hoffman, a truly great actor who died way too young. One of those performers who you can never catch acting, it always seems so real and genuine.

Of all the famous actors I've seen Plemons is the one who least resembles any of his characters in real life, just seems like such a decent, genuinely nice guy. Which further goes to show what a good actor he is.

I met Jesse Plemons a few years ago in tulsa when they were filming Killers of the Flower Moon. He was so gracious and when he took a picture with me he did the Keanu Reeves thing- he put his arm around me but didn't touch me at all, like his arm hovered. He's a good one.

This dude's acting just provokes this feeling I can't explain. I can't help but pay attention when he's on screen. I think it's because he seems like a contained rage that's about to explode and it's terrifying. He doesn't have to do much to evoke that feeling.

Jesse Plemons is a masterful actor! And to answer what Kinds of Kindness is about: It's a dark comedy / psychological study about abuse and power dynamics in human relationships, obviously exaggerated ad infinitum as Lanthimos likes to do it in his movies. I have been abused and I have been abusive (am not anymore thanks to a lot of therapy and work on myself) and I very much enjoyed the movie.

“Some of them want to use you. Some of them want to get used by you. Some of them want to abuse you. Some of them want to be abused." THAT IS FUNNY? THAT IS KINDNESS? SORRY EMMA, BUT NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!!!!! "Sweet Dreams", 1983, Annie Lennox described it as "hopeless and nihilistic" and Dave Stewart, the other part of the duo said the line "hold your head up, moving on" was added to make it more uplifting. We assume no dog was actually harmed while Emma was using ice in a form of "premeditated abuse" as one reviewer put it.
