It's not rebellious or cocky u just don't get it because music has changed it's not about who u r anymore. If people like diddy think growling and yelling is the same thing over and over again then what about pop songs with the same melody always on the charts. Rappers cloning each other every minute. Keep that same energy because half the people they kept on the four are all diff versions of the same person lol

And James should stop making annoying comments n focus on himself.

Jesse is a beaast! He knows who he is and hes gona keep doing him no matter what these judges say and i respect the hell out of that! Noah is just a genuine soul with an amazing voice, and a likeable personality. Diddy is trying to be simon but truthfully i feel like he can only judge his own genre, seems like hes not open to any other ones

@Sean Copia I strongly agree with you. I think if you don't get the genre, keep your mouth shut and find a judge who understands rock. Rock is the LAST thing I'd listen to but I love this guy. I like rock that has growling but has some soft notes too. Jessie is lit, he reminds me of Nickleback.

Ngl though, he has given good criticism, better criticism than the other judges, he's just a bit bias to the better looking contestants

Obviously there is some good talent there but I'm starting to hate this show because of the way it encourages artists to be cocky and lower the others. And don't come at me with the "that's how the music industry is" excuse because you don't have to do what the other people are doing just to get attention, there are great musicians around the world who don't have to step on others to have successful careers.

@@zay540 I used to think this as well, but the problem with that is , you have to show people what you are really offering if he changes afterwards then he would probably just lose all the fans that followed him for what they thought he was. If he keeps staying true to himself then the following he gets will be loyal and there forever eventually it will grow and grow

For me Jesse was really a forgettable performer who took too long. Growling is OK as long as you sing the hardest notes of the song and he had several chances to do so.
