Ya Spright had game one. He should have crashed everything into him dealing 6600, and placing himself on 1200. Jesse only had one out which was the pot which he could have negated, and Zeus would have to remain in def otherwise it is forced to attack which the burn effect applies before battle damage costing him the game. Sad to see.

how are people ok with Spright having a consistent way to a floodgate but cry about Branded having to dedicate their combo to do the gimmick puppet lock on the opponent that loses to 1 ash or imperm/veiler.

@6:10 it's funny that you try to correct people about Prosp VS Eclipse when Prosp locks YOU from drawing while Eclipse makes YOUR OPPONENT draw so there is no conflict even "if they would draw with Eclipse instantly". The only issue would be if YOU activated Prosp and THE OPPONENT activated Eclipse since you are locked from drawing cards (whether this might come from your own cards or effects or your opponent's), and even in this case Eclipse still works because as you said it doesn't happen instantly and works like other delayed effects similarly to how Mirrorjade's EP pop effect cannot be negated by Stardust Dragon or My Body as a Shield (and NOT like Dangers or Snipe Hunter because that a case of not being a guaranteed effect, despite a potential "right result" giving you said effect during resolution immediately)

I believe this confusion is due to Droll which locks BOTH players. But as said above Eclipse doesn't conflict even with that because it's a delayed effect.

I wonder if David didn't know he could activate Toad while negated or if he just forgot. One time at locals, two people were debating whether a negated Halq (not by Skill Drain) A) could activate its effect to synchro summon and resolve because it's off the field B) could not activate its effect to synchro summon because it's negated. It sucks being the only one in the room who knows this stuff. I even have to correct judges frequently.
