I saw his Dad back in the 80s. His voice was amazing. I also saw Lorie too another time. She was and still is so damn beautiful. Thanks for carrying on your dad's song for the next group.

I saw Keith at a club in Chattanooga back in the late 80’s place called governors that was a show i will never forget sad day when he passed

I still tear up listening to him sing this. Usually a tear rolls down my check. I lost a husband when I was 24. Drinking and drugs leaves us with pain but can't imagine their pain. God bless you son. Im a old women now. Learned a lot as you have.

I lost my husband at 20 years old. I am 55 now and I can still hear him like it was yesterday. I think about him all the time. I still had to go on for our 20 month old son. Until you've walked a mile.... Don't Speak is so true. What pressure that boy feels up there knowing the audience is wanting to hear his dad. This was REAL LOVE for his parents.

Not because of her having to babysit her husband because he may get too drunk. She said she tried and I believe she did. You have tickets sold and venues booked. Wasn't just like an ordinary job when you can call in because of a belly ache.

Not to mention that every show you are booked for, you are supposed to be at the venue by a certain time and are expected to go onstage when you are scheduled. There are clauses in the contracts that dictate what penalties, fines, suspension, etc. that the performer is subject too for failing any of the requirements. I talked to a bus driver almost 30 years ago who drove for a lot of the famous country artists back then. He was driving Alan Jackson for a tour. They did a show in Toronto, Canada and was supposed to be in Jacksonville, Florida in 3 days, and he was the only bus driver. He said that he drove almost around the clock and they pulled in 10 minutes late. He said that Alan could've been fined like fifteen or twenty thousand dollars if the label decided to punish him. Everybody working on the venue or in the band gets paid out of your paycheck. Marketing, lights, sound, security, drivers, etc.. you get to keep what's left, if any., He said that the labels didn't give a dam if you were starving, your ass better be at the next show or there would be hell to pay.

I enjoyed Keith's music and Lorie Morgan's beautiful voice singing duets with him. Saddened me greatly when he rode out for the last roundup. This unrefined song that he was working on was added to one of Keith's albums; it is touching and his son does it justice.

I heard him sing w/his momma when he wasn't drinking and he sounded awesome! Jesse is NOT Keith Whitley. Keith was an awesome voice, unique to him. Just as Willie's son sounds similarly like his daddy. Great job, keep up the good work! Jmo....

Can't stop crying. My youngest and I lost his father in 2003...you never get over it. Just try to pick up the broken little boy and set your own pain aside until they're grown. Prayers for all who are going through this or have.

The passing of a celebrity rarely hits me all that hard but that morning in early 89 when I came into work , turned on the AM country station here in metro Detroit and heard the news, it hit me like a brick. 33 years old, beyond talented, beautiful family but those inner demons were just too much to bear. What a sad,sad story. Junior does a fine job with this song

I am from the same town Keith Whitley was from he was a true Country Artist a great loss for our community and all Country fans and friends there's no doubt Keith was gonna make it big if he hadn't lost his life so young.

Keith Whitley was a most wonderful singer and nice guy. I saw him in Pensacola, Fl. at a small bar. Just a few people there but he and his band sang like there were thousands. He took pictures with us. I will always remember thinking what a shame he was not getting the recognition he deserved

That was one of the most moving videos I've ever seen...took me back in time..what a couple they were....their music will never die

I always loved Kieth Whitley's music, and maybe somewhere down the road we're related, since I come from Whitley's too(on the maternal side, in Middle Tennessee) , I hope, deep in my heart, that Kieth loved her. It's obvious her son does, and although I don't know any of them, I love her and her son, and Kieth. It must be hard, dealing with this type of loss. Lorrie Morgan has proven her strength. She is amazing, and makes my heart swell, listening to her when she sings. I believe her sons father would have been proud.

Your a great son, im sure your dad would be proud. Lost my wife in 2017 to a stroke. Wish I could tell her one more time, I love her..

I was a fan of ur Dads when he first got hot. I worked in a beauty shop and he came in for a perm. He was a doll baby. I scene a lot of his shows and loved him dearly. He never acted to good for his people. Love him still!

One of my favorite songs of all time. J.D. Souther is a great one. I have this 45rpm on my Jukebox and listen to it everyday. I live it that much!!!
