Jesse Eisenberg's brilliance in his unique comedy, acting & writing is astounding! Loved him since Zombieland & his books are phenomenal.

I like Jesse. Pours himself into the emotion of his character , has great comic timing.
I admire Jesse a lot, he’s such an interesting and compelling character. I was just hoping he would come on Seth’s show for Fleishman so I guess Christmas came early!

He's Dustin Hoffman with Woody Allen's energy and mannerisms. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I'VE EVER SEEN OFFERED ON TV! Fantastic acting, amazing script -- I couldn't stop watching it (I'm 65). Just SO nice to see something so mature and with serious -- but not relying of "tricks" e.g. not violent, melodramatic, highly sexual content.
Jesse Eisenberg's acting work is such an inspiration. an incredible talent and artist.
Fascinating that he is averse to celebrity culture - but played an actual “celebrity” so masterfully in The Social Network.

The show is incredible! Cannot stop watching.
he’s so fantastic, he has such a dry and smart sense of humor

This interview reminded me of one of the best movie scenes of all time IMO, opening scene of “The Social Network”.
Love Jesse and his sister! Watched Paulie a thousand times!

@@r.p.mcmurphy6623 true, but this guy takes the cake. It's the exceptional ones, where this statement does NOT hold true. Daniel Day-Lewis, Denzel Washington, Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Jack Nicholson. Even, dare I say it, Will Smith is a lot more versatile.

@@redseven485 Oh gag. Meryl Streep is sooooo fake. She and Nicholson are always too over the top, to be believable. I prefer an actor who can make you forget he's acting.

When I listen to Jesse talk, I get notes of Woody Allen. Are they related? Or am I just hearing the dulcet tones of "shy awkward Jew?"🥰 Either way, I love everything this kid does! Edit: I wrote this op-ed before Jesse referred to himself THRICE as "awkward."

How appropriate that someone named Fleishman would weaponize a piece of bacon. 😏
If that kid was smart, she'd splice in a scene from one of his earlier movies where he invents social media.
Deeply neurotic, emotional and unsure. If he ever decides to play Woody Allen he has the character down pat.

Jesse is quick. Improv against this guy is probably hard to keep up with. 🤓
He is like the Woody Allen for a new generation. But in a good way.

I work in and around the best restaurants and bars in Los Angeles, and Jesse has a giant spectrum of "nicest guy ever" to "he's always the worst person in the building"... He's always so likable in interviewszbjt I've heard awful stories from people in an industry I'm sure he might have had to dabble in before he "made it". Always a coin toss with me. Be yourself and don't treat the help like garbage, Jesse!

I hope Mr. Eisenberg reviews a tape of this interview and recognizes how frequently he is touching and scratching his face, even when he's talking. I would have expected that an actor with his performing experience would not allow himself to be upstaged by his own hands. So that was annoying. Luckily I have already started watching his show and find it to be really really engaging.
