[Intro]
Dmaj7 A6/11/E Amaj7
Dmaj7 A6/11/E Amaj7 F#7#5
Dmaj7 A6/11/E Amaj7 F#7#5 Bm7 D/Eadd2
[Verse]
Dmaj7 A6/11/E Amaj7
I don't know why people go and it's a shame
Dmaj7 A6/11/E Amaj7 F#7#5
And it's usually the people that say they'd never change
Dmaj7 A6/11/E
That's when you told me that the storms will
Amaj7 F#7#5
come
Bm7 D/Eadd2
We just gotta learn to dance in the rain
[Pre-chorus]
Dmaj7
Then you said
E9 Amaj7
Don't worry, 'cause babe
Dmaj7
You got me, and I
E9 Amaj7
I'm stayin' right here
Dmaj7 E9
And though the seasons change
Amaj7 F#7#5
My love will stay the same
Bm7 D/Eadd2
For you, yes, it's true

[Chorus]
Dmaj7 E9 Amaj7
You're the only constant thing in my world
Dmaj7 E9 Amaj7
When there's no one left around, it's just me and
F#7#5
my girl
Dmaj7 E9 Amaj7 F#7#5
I know that change is just a part of this life
Bm7 D/Eadd2
But our love will stand the test of time
[Hook]
Dmaj7 E9 Amaj7
Cause, baby, you're my constant, constant
Dmaj7 E9 Amaj7
Darlin', you're my constant, constant

[Verse]
Dmaj7 A6/11/E Amaj7
It's an unpredictable life on my own, yeah
Dmaj7 A6/11/E Amaj7 F#7#5
I could be surrounded by many but still feel alone
Dmaj7 A6/11/E Amaj7
That's when you told me that you'd always be there
F#7#5
for me
Bm7 D/Eadd2
And I'm always coming back to the one I call home

[Chorus]
Yeah, yeah,
Dmaj7 E9 Amaj7
you're the only constant thing in my world (in my world)
Dmaj7 E9 Amaj7
When there's no one left around, it's just me and my
F#7#5
girl (it's just you and me, baby, baby)
Dmaj7 E9 Amaj7 F#7#5
I know that change is just a part of this life
Bm7 D/Eadd2
But our love will stand the test of time

[Hook]
Dmaj7 E9 Amaj7
'Cause, baby, you're my constant, constant
Dmaj7 E9 Amaj7
Darlin', you're my constant, constant
Dmaj7 E9 Amaj7
Baby, you're my constant, constant
Dmaj7 E9 Amaj7
Darlin', you're my constant, constant
[Outro]
Dmaj7 A6/11/E Amaj7
Dmaj7 A6/11/E Amaj7 F#7#5
Dmaj7 A6/11/E Amaj7 F#7#5 Bm7 D/Eadd2
Amaj7

In my experience, there will always be songs that are difficult to learn. What I do is revisit it after a few months or years and youll be surprise that its easier. 😊😊

Thanks for asking. I used different strumming, but you can start by hitting the root note by your thumb twice and then pulling the other string using your pointing, middle and ring finger. Try that and see how it sound. Goodluck

@@faidssahibbil4851 help me understand what you are trying to do: (1) are you trying to change the key or (2) are you trying to simply the chords. As it is the chords I used are movable chords. Let me know
