Shes asking the Lord to keep her, walk with her and not leave her alone while acknowledging that this plain is not her home I.e her Kingdom is not her but she desires the New Jerusalem found in Revelation 21 1-4. That's what shes singing about. The reason I believe this touched so many people during covid is because of the joy it brought, similar in a sense to the joy that will be brought when there is no more pain, sickness, when every tear will be wiped away as promised in said passage. This was a gift from heaven and she was as marvelous conduit of such.
