For the life of me I can't understand why people when commenting are so rude and the swearing is simply uncalled for...if I don't like what I see I just move on; I quite liked this personally

U r right. Origin of words & empires = VERY fascinating. Assyrians, Armenians, Greeks +/- gone BUT Kurds, Turks and Arabs take their place. (Aramaic and Chaldean are old semitic languages...right!) Oh--I heard that yogurt, while said to be a "Turkish" word, is actually from the Armenian words YOUGH (oil) and the suffix -ort (following, -th, -rd) as if YOUGHORT is a "second" Armenian word for the substance after the word MADZOON/ MATSOON ! Oh: Farsi it is "MAST." Linguistics is pretty deep !

ok got it, actually i know that huge amount of words turks borrowed from arabian language, cause as you said arabian hebrew are semitic languages that came from aramaic, that's true. just it was fun that lahmajun turned to be armenian pizza :))

Lehm-e-jeen is the Arabic/Semitic/Assyrian word. It is not really Turkish--whatever that means (85% Armenian forced converts)) it is a word that Turks borrowed from their Arab masters from when they were the slaves, servants and soldiers for the Arab empire. Unfortunately, some Armenians use the so-called Turkish words, but the Armenian word for lehmejeen is simply misov-hats. Putting meat on top of bread is no big deal, whoever "invented it."

lol, why something would happen to them in Israel? who did the genocide to them? not jews.. i think they should be the most big supporters of Israel, and i believe they mostly are.
