I love your expressions in the videos’ snap shots. And the dancing hot dog in these openers. 😆 All the better. I know the feeling, weather wise. It was 48 here a few days ago. To me, calling it anywhere below 65, was pushing it. Big time.

Suggestion Get yourself a box of good plastic cutlery and keep them in your vehicle for future food adventures. Great video. I'd stayed in Long Branch a few times in fall/spring 2007/08. Beautiful spot. Stayed in that same hotel as well. Great restaurants and shops. I remember everything being really expensive.

I've made chili dogs at home and the roll breaks at the bottom giving me two pieces of bread and I put them on a plate with the hot dogs and add chili and cheese and make it a plate. I think I eat it slower, though I'm usually online when I eat, but hot dogs that hold together, I can do it in 30 seconds and then onto another. Of course, you're paying $20 something, so you should expect better. I love the speed exercise equipment idea that they used to have on the Boardwalk; you think it would have been well received; then again, things aren't. Good idea who ever thought of it!

The casing was good and snapped like I like them. These tasted pretty salty however. As I've said, I've been to their other locations and enjoyed. I'll go back. I like their steak sandwiches as well. Thanks for watching mafatone

@@JerseyJeffEats The longer they cook it, the more browner it gets which in turn concentrates the flavor more, making taste very salty. If you bought a pack in Shop Rite and lightly browned it instead of slaughtering it like they do, you'd see it's a good dog. Thanks Jeff

@@JerseyJeffEats What I meant to say above, they sell Windmill hot dogs at Shop Rite. You'd see a big difference if you lightly fried up your own.

I turned it off when i saw ketsup on the onion rings.....thats a no go

I've eaten at other Windmills and enjoyed my meal. Ill always give a place another try. We all have bad days. The cheese steaks are pretty good! Maybe next video. Thanks for watching Richard!

Hi Jeff! If I were to go after seeing your video I would probably see if I could get the chili on the side it did look really good. Also I may ask for an extra one of the containers to put my ketchup in. I’m a dipper too and I don’t like just having the ketchup squirted all over my fries/rings. Oh and let’s bring ourselves a better fork. That one was too flimsy. Thanks Jeff!! 😊

Looks like a nice town. Those white flexible plastic forks are annoying aren't they? They break so easy. On trips I always take along the stronger made plastic forks and knives, usually black, that don't bend easily. I also take a regular metal fork and small metal cocktail fork. For some reason everytime I ate seafood at Harrah's the little forks were nowhere to be found, so I just take them with me now. I think because they are small, they get thrown out by accident.

My Wife does the same. She packs good silverware and we ask for salt packets at drive thrus everytime we go. We actually stole a salt shaker from a hotel now so that goes everywhere with us now

You needed to get over the fact that your hand was going to me a mess and just eat the hot dogs with your hand anyway.

Most people probably won't remember this place but I remember me and my boyfriend now hubby and my cousin going to the Haunted Mansion in Long Branch. Scariest place ever. Two girls in line behind us asked if they could hang with us. Five girls hanging on to hubby for protection lol by the time we busted out he was scratched up and shirt was torn to shreds.

Jeff, I don't usually think this and I respect your opinions but it just seemed like you complained too much in this video. Was it really that bad? The food actually looked good despite the mess all over your hands and the bun falling apart. Do they not toast the buns? Also, did you ask them if they had condiment cups to put the ketchup in? Or you could've just moved some fries or onion rings aside and put them next to the hot dogs so you would've had some space for your ketchup. Sorry you had an unsatisfactory experience though.

Thanks Debra! Just telling you guys about my experience. I did ask for ketchup packets but they pointed to the squirters. I did say the meal was tasty, but messy. The hot dogs were on the salty side but the chili was good. The fries were not cooked enough and not seasoned. The rings were good. I think thats a pretty good assessment of my visit!
