Jerry has become incredibly hard to tolerate. It's clear all the success has gotten to him. His ego is just out of control now. I'm not sure what happened but it's gotten really bad in the last few years. He's intolerable now and completely out-of-touch with reality and how normal people live because he's so fucking rich. He basically morphed into Jay Leno now. Oh, yeah, it's completely normal to have a garage of 100 porches yeah, yeah. SMH Jerry has actually said in interviews that he started out good at comedy. I'm serious. NOBODY starts out good. They have to work and build up an act but Jerry actually thinks the very first stuff he wrote was comedy gold. His ego is just out of control.

+drServitis Man, you may have a point there, but Jerry was not happy by the way he was treated. What Jerry was communicating was: hey, I have been going to shows like this for decades now and I know how it works. For you guys, a begining actor or a struggling comedian gets to do all the work, but I'm not an old-broke comedian begging for a gig. If you want to have me on the show, fine, but you don't invite me to get your show done. You do it then you call me. Simple as that. In this case, Seinfeld was actually teaching those guys how to treat a guest like him while delivering a great show. I know that I liked it! Learn this Seinfeld's tip: Great the caliber of the guest, harder you get to work.

One of many interviews I've seen where he's funny. It's a fucking shtick. He's not going on this show so he can brag, he's doing it to be funny. He probably put in a lot of time writing this bit. He's known to polish his material relentlessly because he cares so much about the audience being entertained. You may be a Seth Meyers fan, but just try to have a sense of humor anyway.

+Marius Facktor I kinda agree... I'm glad people watch and enjoy Conan, and he's obviously had his impact, but I find his interviewing style pretty transparent as to the whole pre-interview situation. So often with him you will get the "So.... I heard somewhere that you were in Cabo..." and, to me, really glaringly obvious lead-in lines to the "script" from the pre-interview. Seth has some of that, but it seems to happen less often, and he just puts it out there honestly: "You were in Cabo..." and it just seem to flow more naturally. Major point that Seinfeld brought up, that Seth doesn't use notecards. How many other late night hosts fly solo out there without notes? It's like Seth does his research - and yes, uses the pre-interview - but then he commits it all to memory and just goes out and has a decent conversation.
