Yeah it's not the original audio of the theremin. In the original audio from the movie, it's Swanee River, or something that sounds a lot like it.

Perhaps you could add some accompaniment on the bagpipes, and don't go blaming Jerry because you can't play the theremin.

He is supposed to be playing, however they changed the audio. Originally it was Swanee River, or something that sounded a lot like it. Though I'm sure you're right that it wasn't actually Jerry Lewis playing, just added in.

It's quite obvious that he's not playing. he's always doing the same movements, not following the notes at all. just fake.
