I've being saying the same thing to myself for 35 years or more. Great Balls of Fire is an amazing Rock n' Roll song and he likes to be classified as one of the greatest Rock n' Roll artists of all time, of which I agree with. However he truly is a living contradiction to me because noting brings life to my country soul like 'Another Place, Another Time' and what he has done for the Country & Western genre would send a shiver down Hank seniors spine.

I was born 1955 .as im growing up i heard the name Jerry Lee Lewis i know hes famous but i dont know hes songs at that time .i know elvis but i realize he is better and good than elvis .at my age now of 65 years. Im started to be avid fan of jerry lee Lewis .i love all his songs its unique with midas touch.

They said there is no way a man could write such melancholy lyrics, he's taking credit for some others talent. Alcohol and morphine , whats the quote "will make you plumb the depths of your soul". Luke the Drifter sang and grown men teared up. When a song starts "I got the invitation you sent me..you wanted me to see you change your name" doesn't matter

0:13 seems like the drummer starts the verse too slow and Jerry yells at him to "pick it up", which he does. You can see the drummer laughing after, looking over at perhaps the bass player. Jerry's piano playing becomes more rhythmically demonstrative to indicate the tempo. Once established, he goes back to ornamental playing.
