Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZread, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZread. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZread, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

1950s rock was wild: Jerry Lee, early Elvis, Little Richard, Chuck Berry to name a few of the headliners. The establishment decided it had to be tamed, thus the early 1960s. Then came the British invasion in the mid 60s. But these trailblazers should not be forgotten.

'The Killer' famously said, "Friendship, that's a deal, that's a commitment. Don't give me paper - I can get the same lawyer who drew it up to break it. But if you shake my hand, that's for life." "If the Lord made anything better than a woman, he kept it for himself." and "If I'm going to hell, I'm going there playing the piano!" He was right on all three. RIP Jerry Lee.

Jerry Lee F$&#g! Lewis!! The proverbial wild child and a rock pioneer!! So controversial, yes he married his first cousin(she was 13, he was 22), yes he set his piano on fire once during a concert because he didn't want to perform before Chuck Berry, and yes he spent time in jail for brandishing a gun outside of Elvis's home. But he performed up to near his death and was a major contributor to rock-n-roll.

This was actually later in his life so he wasn't nearly as physical as earlier. There's an old story that the "rocket fuel" NASA used to send the Apollo rockets into space was actually blood plasma from Jerry Lee...

The original bad boy of rock, and a human dynamo on the piano - he was still rocking up until his death only a year or so ago. RIP Jerry Lee. Pretty sure that the great Dave Edmunds was on lead guitar for this set, too. BTW, fast piano does go back into the jazz era - check out Art Tatum's "Tiger Rag" from 1933. Not exactly "thrash metal", but still very impressive.

A little tidbit: Jerry Lee Lewis and the evangelist Jimmy Swaggart are cousins. Both grew up with each other. Both were also great piano players and singers. He also married his 13-year-old cousin (once removed). Her name is Myra. The were married for 12 years from 1958 to 1970. A great movie to watch about Jerry Lee Lewis is a movie called "Great Balls of Fire" starring Dennis Quaid as Jerry Lee Lewis and Winona Ryder as Myra.

do yourself a favor - if you love jerry lee as much as i do - get a copy of the 1989 movie 'great balls of fire' starring dennis quaid as jerry lee. dennis did a lot of studying of jerry's style and learned to play piano in the wild way for the role. jerry actually didn't like the movie but loved dennis's portrayal of him saying " he really pulled it off ". my favorite dennis quaid movie. the shooting of his bassist was an accident - he fired a .357 magnum at a coke bottle in his room and it ricocheted and hit butch owens in the chest.

Jerry Lee (The Killer) Lewis was a madman. He also did some questionable things in his younger days in the 50s. He married his 14 year old cousin, and a few other things that were acceptable in those days in some parts of the south, but not so much in the rest of the country. Still, he was a superstar with the teenagers in the 50s. He was a pioneer of Rock and Roll along with Elvis, Chuck Berry, Little Richard and some others of that new and exciting music genre called Rock and Roll.
