I'm almost 48, and I started playing guitar when I was 14, set 34 years of playing and listening intently. And after all of this time, I can say there are only a very few guitarist that I listen to that I can not only immediately identify because of their very unique sound dot.dot but with Jerry that unique sound also moves me so much more than any other guitar player's sound!. There's just something about his sense of Melody and the notes he chooses to play. It's like, as soon as the play button gets hit and you drop right into a live recording of just about any dead song from any year and that sound hits you and just makes you go ahhhh

Where else would we get our whaling ballads?? Shortage of guys willing to take on the dying art of....wait a minute.....why can't the Japanese..,. They can carry the torch and help lift the burden of the few whom have been carrying that load...btw I'm a total idiot and asshole (stereotyping Japanese as whalers... Pay no attention to my comment....or I should say comments....My idiocy may be contagious through the internet. And btw this song fucking rules....it's got all the top stuff.,drinking whoring gambling and being a proper miscreant from time to time throughout my years I tip my hat and raise my glass to the storyteller for his story was chosen by a helluva cat to be played for generations more. Thanks....... again Jerry!
