the practical effects was much needed and awesome...action packed
Great interview, superb questions especially on shooting most stuff in camera practically. Loved Beverly hills cop and Aliens back in the day when i was 13 year old (now 50) i got my mam to ask local video store could we buy on VHS off them a copy of Beverly hills cop and Aliens back when they where Rental Only. They let me have a copy after 2 weeks of rentals for something like £25 UK pounds each, i was blown away at the time. Loved Eddie ever since, 48hrs, Trading Places, Bev hills cop 1&2 etc…truly cant wait for next week with Axel F and especially with Lorne Balfe doing the Score. Also looking forward to Alien Romulus in August👍👍🙂
This guy mark molloy is pretty good. Got inspired by a lot of good 80s action movies to direct this sequel to Beverly Hills cop. The movies he mentioned are my favorites.
What up doe Jerry! Thank you for inspiring a new young director, both the Aussie and Maurizio Dominguez. You spoke to the American Vision award winners at the College for creative studies years ago, the No no claymation video. He just won Best Short Film in the International Film festival in NYC for Un Dia Normal. He’d love to see you again. Stay blessed and you make Detroit shine🤙🏽 I can’t wait for BHC5
It’s never explained why an obscure Australian director was chosen who has only done adverts. He has no motion picture experience.

Cheap and eager to make a mark in the Industry. He sounds pretty perfect for the job with His love of the 80's and in-Camera practical stunts. Just remember that James Cameron's first real feature Film was The Terminator and that turned out amazingly well. Have faith. 💖

It was Piranha 2: The Spawning. And going by that film, it's amazing he ever got to do another

@@piehard136 James only shot for 4 days on that flick before being fired(worked about 2 weeks total redoing the script and drawing storyboards, creating special effects pieces, etc) it wasn't a true Directorial debut.

@@piehard136 4 days on set and fired isn't a debut, but I'm not gonna argue. James doesn't count it.
‘To Live and Die in LA’. The director has great taste.
awesome movie
I wonder who was standing there to Snap these Pictures??? 🤔🤔🤔 SMART THINKING!!!!!
I really wanted to see this film on the big screen!!! A shame to witness the return of Axel Foley on a streaming platform.
It’s only it’s on Netflix
Should’ve asked about Don Simpson.
That's sad because Paramount badly need franchises. Now that I've seen the film certain set pieces would look great on a giant screen with a huge sound system.
interviewer seems scripted robot
