jerome desigaud triple alghoza ébène
Музыка
an ebony triple flute I made for a friend. I'm just playing pakistani melodies inspired from great masters Mishri Khan Jamali and the fabulous Kamisoo Khan who are both dead, but their music is alive in my heart.
I wish joy to everyone, for this new year 2010!!!

I am from Sindh and this is a musical instrument from my land and I must say that it is well played by Jerome. As I recognize it, it is also a Sindhi Folk Music being played in this video.
Has a beautiful sound
Wonderful! C’est chouette d’entendre ta musique encore. Je t’ai vue sur ma page de subscriptions. Tu vive la reve!

this is really beautiful!!!
eh ben alors là BRAVO !! Superbe instrument et belle maîtrise ça fait plaisir à entendre !! A plus. Adrien.
alghoza or alghozo or alogoza or algozo or beenoon is also called satara in Rajashtan , doneli or donali or do nally in Baluchestan and Jodia Pawa in the Kutsch. This is a traditionnal instrument that was played all around mediterranean Europe, even in France where I live. This is not alive anymore here so I take my inspiration where this instrument is still played. I also make some of these...
dont give up Jerome!
Sounds great, Jerome.
Sounds great!

Naice Goood Sindhiii Fok Music
Great tune
Bravo !
sorry, I must add that normally this instrument has only one drone and one chanter. this is a special one! with two drones.
Very Good.
thankyou aftab1983able for the relevance of your comment!
great
I can't really give you instructions on how to make an alghoza, cause there are soo many different small things interacting into the mouthpiece. You can use PVC pipe, you'll find everything about dimensions and scales on the EMI website. Once you've made your flutes (you can also use ready-made bamboo flutes) you need to learn circular breathing. First play only with the drone and once you manage to make a constant sound, then take the chanter and play only 2 or 3 notes to make a rythmic pattern
Very very nice

Goooood. Potar.
This is called as Alghoza or Alghozo and you can still find it in Sindh (a province of Pakistan)
hi , it sounds amazing. where can i buy a cheap satara ? how much does it cost ? thank you
Hi Jerome, I'm interested in getting an alghoza and learning to play. Do you make & sell algozas? Thanks, Shan
Pour Pierre-Yves ?
Hello, you can buy cheap sataras (for 150 euros) in my website. But I must warn you: cheap flutes, cheap quality.
Please call me thanks
