It's crazy how much the Culture has changed...the method that the Coach used to motivate his star player by calling him out in front of the team would now be viewed as some type of harassing behavior and I guarantee the Media would run with it....Good On you Jerome for recognizing that it was being used to motivate you to work harder and become a Hall of Fame player in the NFL

There is NO Football Coach that commanded Respect like Lou Holtz... During Lou Holtz's coaching career, HE WAS THE BOSS. A little guy that everyone feared and RESPECTED... But on the same note, Lou Holtz should have been a little gentle to his players. His hard attitude and demeanor BROKE MANY A GREAT PLAYERS... Had Lou Holtz showed a gentler side to his players AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, OPENED UP THE PLAY BOOK... HE COULD HAVE WENT DOWN AS THE GREATEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL COACH IN HISTORY... But i still love the Man, and i hate the man responsible for ousting Lou Holtz

@@bigglilwayne7050 Chuck Knox was the coach of the Rams Jerome Bettis' 1st & 2nd years in the NFL. He also coached the Bills & Seahawks, as well as the Rams in the mid 70s. He was a great coach that I feel desearves to be in the Pro Football HOF. Even though he never won a Super Bowl. A lot on the same level as Don Coreyell.
