The weight excuse is ridiculous for him not even trying. Amir Khan put up more of a fight against Canelo, and he's much smaller than Charlo.

Man he hit it on the head! 100% accurate...Charlo was in there trying to survive and wasn't the slightest bit interested in trying to win that fight. It was clear in the buildup...Charlo kept saying definitively that he was going back down to 154 after the fight...if you're challenging to be undisputed at that weight and you expect to win why would you be completely sure of returning to your previous weight class? That told the story on its own. That boy was in there to get the biggest check of his career and that's it

I agree, something changed to the night Errol lost. The guy that use to best you in sparring, got demolished! So he had to justify that, maybe thinks “damn if that can happen to Errol, we all might be food.” Or “man, I just need to go full the 12, I’m moving up so I’m good even if he beat me.” Problem is WE NOTICED IT. Salute to EJ who atleast went out fighting! Got up 3 times, Charlo TOOK A KNEE..he wasn’t forced down.

To me it seemed like charlo felt canelo’s power punches in the first few rounds and realized he was not going to survive by exchanging punches with canelo. That’s why he started stepping back every single time, people need to understand canelo is a heavy puncher and is used to fighting big guys, he has much more experience than any other fighter at this point of his career. Also it seemed like that extra weight greatly affected charlo’s speed.

I watched him and his brother for over a decade and at one point bought into the brothers lions only thing so as a brother I low key wanted to see them come up together. Then suddenly over the last few years that hunger vanished. Canelo exposed them both and Jermall likely won't get the fight. Makes you wonder what the beef between the brothers was about.
