@@DramacydalEL he shouldn’t switch up just because of a loss, but in boxing, it happens to the fighters often. Just look at Ryan Garcia after his loss. He needs a whole new camp and new supporters. Jermell has zero to gain by even mentioning ESJr, but he not only showed support, he also campaigned for his rematch to help him get another pay-day. This shows class in contrast to the selfish bravado given by many other fighters. It also shows loyalty. It’s hard to show loyalty without having Integrity.

I really want this one for Charlo. He's been chasing this for years. I know everyone wants Canelo/Benavidez, but this fight is just as MAJOR. And as big of a risk. I feel like this fight came at the perfect time for Charlo. I dont feel he was as ready before. Canelo would have won a lot easier off experience alone. With this fight, it really comes down to which Canelo shows up. His foot has been off the gas a little bit lately. With almost 70 fights under his belt at only age 33, that's a looooooot of mileage on that car. Plays in Charlo's favor. I think the layoff does too honestly. For this match up. He's fresher. Going up 2 weight classes though favors Canelo. But like he said himself, Charlo is a dawg. I'm from Houston, so gotta ride for the home team. It's gonna be a dawg fight for sure.
