I think he should be proud. He was bad at making builds, he improved his logic with making them, and then created a build that functioned better. Like if a man thought it was better to chop cucumbers with a brick, then figured out a knife is way better. It's still progress.

I like how despite being a game exclusively about piloting mechs, there's still a SPAS-12 in the game. It's just a SPAS-12 that was scaled up to the size of a truck.

With how badly he built his tetrapod, he deserved to lose to Balteus for 2 hours Also the guy in chat that told him to drop a shoulder weapon to make up for his EN shortfall should be permabanned

Watching him have balteus beaten like 5 times if he just assault boosted at him and pressed l2, but choosing just to hang back and tank hits while doing no damage because he has close range weapons until he dies, was truly one of the jerma moments of all time

@@firewolf11567 It's only unnecessary when you're able to actually follow the enemy craft. The amount of times that the enemy just flies over Jerma's AC and he goes "where is he?!" are proof that he can't do it (for now), so it would be better if he used the lock-on at least.

Hard lock reduces your accuracy but is good for melee tracking. Soft lock for shooting from mid distance Hard lock for melee + AB kicks.

It's entirely too fucking funny that Balteus got nerfed to the ground right after Jerma beat him

I remember betting like half of my jerma points on him getting angry. I was very tired so i feel asleep and woke up like 4 hours later to see that i had bet correctly. Does anyone know the exact point when he absolutely lost it?

I almost beat Balteus first try, that is a flex I wish I had. I am however TERRIBLE at conserving ammo, so I had him at 10% and had to punch him on a nimble build, so I literally got two shot by his sword.

Every single person reviewing this game right now: "These bosses are waaaay too tough and compared to that the actual levels are child's play, way too easy not even a challenge but the difficulty spikes on bosses are insane!" Jerma doing the wallclimber mission: "This game is actually super hard"

In a weird meta way, the Balteus fight got me to really hate Ayre as a character because she wouldn't shut up through the entire battle after restarting so many times, which is 100% my fault for not getting gud sooner. After that point, I was committed to sticking with the "I'm here for the paycheck" merc mentality. Honestly, made it easy to streamline the first playthrough decision-wise.

So its been like 20 years since (give or take) the last AC and its likely one of the last Mecha game series of its kind. No one compared to Armored core really and now with the revival of AC6, everyone's praying that Mecha games get another change in the gaming world. People also hope that since AC6 has gotten an immense amount of praise, that Armored Core be completely revived and become a staple in fromsofts library once again.

Nah, it's just that new players don't know how to build good AC's or don't care to understand the numbers. Add on lack of familiarity with how to effectively dodge things like missiles (move perpendicular) and balteus will eat you alive.

@@oldthug2309 a high speed lightweight build (starting scanner parts would probably work) with medium missile launchers and appropriate booster will you through easy, pack the rapid machine gun or pulse gun and then the only problem is on you to dodge attacks. Use melee and kicks on break etc. But a new player doesn't know any of this and will go in with a jack of all trades master of none with no build focus like ol jeremy. The game doesn't even focus on important stats like optimal quick boost weight for thrusters

Jerma needs to play Baldurs Gate

This game mentions "dog" more often than a military-obsessed 15 year old's fanfic. If it has to mention it that many times for it to have an effect on the game's atmosphere, it's bad writing. Fromsoftware games usually have big problems, but none of them beat how insufferable their fans' ableism is. I could run 200 attempts of their hardest most flawed boss and still not feel as repulsed as reading their comments.
